I am an absolute novice at buying precious metals as a personal investment. I spent a long time researching companies and I have been procrastinating because of my concerns. Then I found Direct Bullion and especially James Byrne who is now my account manager. The company has proved to be a safe place to buy and James Byrne is an excellent account manager who has guided me through precious metals purchasing with great knowledge of the market and went the extra mile (or more) to advise and inform without the rediculous ultra sales pitches from over confident and over zealous sales people. Hi is now my 'go to' man for future purchases.
Well done Direct Bullion and especially James Byrne.
This is not a review that is written lightly because others reading this will be spending significant amounts of money.
I feel safe, looked after and comfortable using this company in conjuction with James.

Great firm, really good service, i was actually very impressed. Recently retired and wasn't sure what to do with my payout, gold seemed safe and tax-free which i was not aware.

The whole process took me about 3 weeks from start to finish. I took delivery of my coins and bars this morning and they look so much better in your hand than any online image.

I can't find any fault really so good all round.

Be very careful if you choose to buy from Direct Bullion. My husband and I had this experience.
They will smooth talk you into buying from them. Once they have your money their attitude towards you will change. They will be in no hurry to despatch your purchase to you. I had to get my Bank involved to get a refund because they would not post out the gold I had bought from them. They kept making excuses why this couldn't be done. They refused to give me a refund, but you are entitled to one despite what they say. There are much honest, reliable gold companies out there, especially Bullion House. In my opinion, stay well clear of Direct Bullion!!
