Really unhappy. I wanted 3x XXL drawers. And 2 slim ones . They discontinued the slim ones.
Then the descriptions literally show how the locks are changeable. I even contacted in advance to confirm this. And the sell “.keyed alike” locks. But they won’t sell any product keyed alike. You have to buy them. With lock. Then buy new locks. Based on the fact they are very expensive to start with this isn’t right.
But moving on. I did this. I brought and fitted 3x drawers. So now I have 3 keys. Unidentifiable between them to fit 3 drawers. Which is a pain in the arse to open up 30 times a day without being able to know which keys what.
So I contacted about locks. To be told they sell single or twin packs.
Twin is the maximum.
Do I asked to have 2 locks made to my code. (So I change 2 and end up with 3 keyed alike.
No,, refused.
“They won’t ever offer this service”
Oh and they are out of stock.
As is half of their inventory most of the time.
I’m running a business here. It’s not for fun. I need security to protect my livelihood and they make it so difficult. As other reviews literally prove.
I regret my purchase. (Which I had to buy through a 3rd party dispatched by van vault as van vault had no stock??? Work that one out?? ))
Mine might well end up on eBay. And start over with another company. Who actually cares about its customers.
Either that or it’s now going to cost me £100s to get a metal worker to cut these up and weld in locks that would suit me.
Not impressed what so ever.
Definitely wouldnt recommend. Avoid unless you just want 1 safe. 1 key. And don’t care about keyed alike.
I carry a bunch of 8 keys for my van atm. I look like a caretaker rather than a plumber.

"Faulty parts "
After 6 months my van vault lock went faulty. Jammed and couldn’t get the key out. Got in contact with van vault about this and they told me to send proof of purchase and I also sent a short video of the issue. As soon as I sent the relevant stuff they have started to ignore all my emails. Tried contacting them by phone and you can’t get through because the line doesn’t work. If you’re looking at getting van tool security I’d definitely look at the other brands on the market because if you have any problems then you’re screwed.

"2 years on & spares are still OUT OF STOCK !"
Van Vault products are good but they have ZERO customer service & ZERO spares back-up for any faulty parts on their products. Been tryng for nearly 2 years now to get spare drawer runners for our van sliders, get told stock is coming xxxx month, NEVER APPEARS. Get told spares have been delivered & back in stock, then when you go on their site to order they show NO STOCK !! Either someone is lying or they have that many customers waiting for spares that they can't satisfy demand ?! Think this situation tells a bigger story of poor quality parts on some of their products, no proper spares back-up & customer service fobbing off customers with false promises!!
Very very POOR SERVICE from such an established company.

The reason for my review is because screwfix wouldn't publish it. I purchased an xl slider. Once my order was confirmed with screw fix van vault were supposed to contact me for delivery. I never received confirmation from them. They didn’t get in touch RE delivery. It just turned up one day but wasn’t delivered as I was out. Fed ex left incorrect tracking info.
Screwfix never followed my enquiry up. Fed ex had no idea where the parcel was and I never herd from van vault. Not good as it’s a 2 person lift. It was eventually resolved from fed ex and left on my driveway as I was out again.
Buy from a company who has it in stock. Not screwfix/van vault as it’s very poor service.

Trying to get a replacement key but all im getting from the online form is Serial number not recognised! It's the one on the side of the box!!!! Help what can i do... Not getting any answers via email either....

"Van Vault Slider"
Fast and reliable services. Unfortunately the Vault Slider box is not very good quality due to plastic caps on the drawers sliding rails which became loose just over 6 months after use. I do suggest them to find some better alternatives to the sliding rails. Otherwise the structure of the box is very solid

"Van Vault Slim Slider problems"
I purchased a Van Vault Slim Slider back in July 2020. A wonderful piece of kit - however it hasn't been without fault. All was well until April 2021 when the draw runners started falling apart. The little plastic strips with the ball bearings in, started dropping out causing the draw to drop and become really stiff to open and close. I contacted Van Vault direct who sent out the wrong bearings then directed me back to the retailer (SGS) who were amazing at getting it sorted for me. I proceeded to fit the new runners and all was well again. However, it's Feb 2022 and the new runners have failed again, ejecting the strips and ball bearings - so it seems they only have less than a year of lifespan. I know have to make enquiries about purchasing a set of new runners as the draw has become impossible to use and out of warranty. I do use the draw daily and really have become dependent on it. If the runners didn't fail the product would be absolutely amazing. Sort out the quality of the runners Van Vault, they just aren't up to daily use!

Your not going to find a better company with solid products, And the customer service was shocking as I didn’t expect things to run so smoothly and resolveing my issue quickly, highly recommended and I will be definitely be shopping here again, Highly recommended and happy customer

"I ordered the slim line 2 weeks ago and…"
I ordered the slim line 2 weeks ago and the wrong box got delivered. Following several phone calls by me none returned they came and took the wrong box away. I’ve been told today that they are out of stock of the correct box and they are going to issue a refund as they don’t know when they will be in stock. I now have to wait 3/5 days for a refund. Why does it take so long to refund? I’ve now had to pay more from another supplier.
