"Brilliant retailer"
Brilliant retailer. Literally everyone I spoke to was saying that they were out of stock on the RM Williams Chinchilla boot. I found these guys via an internet search, their website stated that they were in stock, I contacted them for confirmation and was told yes if our website says we have them then yes we have them. I ordered the boots on Saturday and they were delivered on Wednesday, what can I say - Fantastic.

They do not have stocks. I ordered online and it was showing in stock. They try to sale you alternative. I requested cancellation and refund after to and fro email for alternative shoes. I am still awaiting for the refund with no communication. Why charge the money when you don't have the stock? Why it takes more than 2 weeks to refund the money? Bad business practice. I look forward to hear with my refund asap from Robinson shoes and close this saga. NEVER AGAIN TO BUY FROM THIS MERCHANT.

"Disappointing Experience with Robinsons - Never Again"
I ordered a pair of shoes that were shown as 'in stock' on the 28th of May. After not receiving a confirmation, I reached out on the 31st, only to receive a reply on the 3rd of June asking if I had picked up an email about a delay, which I hadn’t. I was then informed it would take 5-6 weeks for my order to arrive, which wasn’t ideal as I specifically wanted boots that were supposed to be in stock. Nevertheless, I agreed to wait.
On the 2nd of July, I received another email notifying me of further delays. After some back and forth, I decided to switch to a different pair of shoes that were supposedly available. However, I was asked to pay an additional £50, which I reluctantly agreed to on the 9th of July. I was reassured that the delivery would be with me the following week.
But, low and behold, it’s now the 9th of August—an entire month later—and I finally received my Barker Chelsea boots. This entire experience has been frustrating and disappointing, and I will never buy anything from Robinsons again.

"Lost in transit"
My favourite shoes were a pair of Barker Javrons, but they were a bit long in the tooth to wear at the wedding of a friend's daughter so I did a search for replacements. Robinson's came up as the best option for price and delivery and I ordered from them.
Sadly Royal Mail's service did not match that of Robinson's - longish story but they lost them.
I contacted the store for advice and James was super helpful. He processed the claim against RM, and helped me with a suitable replacement.
Add all that up and it's a clear 5* to Robinson's and 0 to RM

Bought barker shoes that weren't as expected due to barker changing manufacturing process to reduce costs. Robinsons responed quickly to my email and took the time to investigate and respond to my query. Very helpful would definitely use again.

First of all, the product selection is great! I bought a pair shoes for my dad and 6 months later he asked for the same pair but a different colour because he loved the look and feel so much. Second of all, the sales department are extremely helpful and kind. I was dealing with 'James'. :)
