Lovely holiday with only one downside. Taxi was one hour late in picking up an elderly gentleman at Wakefield so we were then delayed getting home.

All the excursions were excellent and Brynn , the driver , superb. The meals were disappointing with unusual combinations such as fish (good) but with chips and rice. The starters and desserts were good. In the brochure it was stated it was a buffet-style service which we prefer but we were told that this had been changed to waiter service by Palmers. Breakfasts were OK with a good selection of fruit and cereal. The bacon was not grilled as stated in the menu but microwaved and was not crispy. Scrambled eggs were a bit watery. I used the pool which was good. Overall we really enjoyed the holiday and felt our excursions were better than those of another coach party. The inclusion of a guide in Cardiff was an excellent idea and was something that the other coach party did not have. We enjoyed all the excursion and had just the right amount of time for each one and did not feel 'rushed'. We will definitely go on another trip with Palmers.

The hotel was excellent, the itinerary was very good (can't help the rain) the bus driver Grant was very good. Little niggle was being held up for an hour as one of the taxis was late at wakefield

Loved the home pick-up. Driver was extremely helpful and very polite, a perfect gentleman. Trip was great with lots of information. Let down was the food at the Holiday Inn which is why only 4 stars not 5.

Lovely hotel at Holme Lacey, Herefordshire. Plenty of activities at hotel if you chose not to go on the outings.Trips to local towns could have been longer.
