"It was supposed to be a palmer luxury…"

It was supposed to be a palmer luxury coach which it wasn't. Too long 5 hours at the Bridgewater gardens rushed back to hotel. Hotel was awful. In middle of nowhere. Food was disgusting complained to chef. Noisy hotel. Wedding taking place kids running around. Arguements about how long we were spending in Southport. Driver saying not much to do anyway. To be honest it was far too expensive for the service we got. I had recently been with caledonian for £70 and had great hotel with entertainment and great hotel central to walk about. I was so disappointed and wouldn't book again with Palmers. Everyone was of the same opinion. Really would like a refund! We booked this for my husbands birthday so not a good experience!

Hotel was average, room quite basic with a small shelf for kettle and crockery etc.not too safe for a boiling kettle.Two sleepless nights with noisy occupants till 3 am and 5am.Poorest hotel we’ve stayed in with Palmers.
Food was ok but lacked a healthy choice for sweet , like fruit salad.
Longleat trip was excellent.Didn’t appreciate the river cruise being moved from Thurs to Fri am . the day we traveled home, which made it late getting back.

"dissapointing food"

evening meal consistently disappointing beige coloured risotto that tasted of curry was the lowest for me the service was poor crumble dessert being served then having to ask for custard that turned up 5 mins. later steak pie served had to ask for gravy i had half eaten the meal when it arrived. I missunderstood the times that the bus driver gave for the trip on wednesday so missed the bus when i spoke to the driver he said he had waited 10 minutes i thought a more responsible action would have been to go to reception ask to phone our room to make sure we were alright given the ages of passengers

"Torquay was run down"

Torquay was run down. It was sad to see so many young people sleeping rough.
The Carlton Hotel was OK, clean. Food was OK.
The coach was not up to standard. Very dirty especially at the back. NOT luxury travel. The driver did a good job.
Many felt the Buckfast Abbey trip was not worth it.
