The collection from home and return was on time and well planned.The coach for comfort and cleanliness was first class and the Palmer experience was well above board.

The hotel staff were excellent and made the holiday. The driver was exceptional, careful and smooth in his approach to junctions etc. The coach was excellent with plenty of legroom.

The holiday overall was excellent, driver pleasant and helpful, visits to interesting places well planned with plenty of time to explore. However the hotel - Double Tree by Hilton Oxford Belfry let it down. My room (and several others) were very cold, radiator didn't work. Complained to reception and was told maintenance would look at it, came back from day out still icy so we were given small oil radiators, not big enough to heat bedrooms. Meals served in large cold room and dinners were terrible - pastry like concrete, prawn linguine just a plate of pasta with 6 tiny shrimps hiding in it! etc Slow service.

"Spectacular Chatsworth"

The coach was comfortable and the driver friendly and courteous. The hotel was very good, staff efficient and attentive. Chatsworth House was spectacular, but we felt 4 hours was too long to spend there as the tour of the house was over within an hour. More time in Bakewell would have been nice. However, all in all it was a well organised tour and a very enjoyable two days. Would certainly use Palmers again.

Everything about the trip was excellent; hotel, bus, driver, visits etc; no problems at all and very enjoyable.

From the initial enquiry to the actual trip, Palmers were professional, friendly and went above and beyond to be as helpful/accommodating as possible.
The hotel was beautiful and just as described, the coach was spotless and our driver (Grant) was informative, funny and an all round lovely bloke.
The meet and greet on arrival made the whole process of checking in much easier and less time consuming, always a bonus after travelling.
I will definitely be using them again and would highly recommend them to anyone.
