"Notting Hill Charmer"

This was a very well appointed beautiful flat in a wonderful neighborhood. The One Fine Stay team was there to greet us and explain everything about the house, which was very helpful. Would definitely book again!

"Beautiful 1 bedroom apt in Paris"

I rented a one bedroom apartment in Paris (St.Germain Des Pres) in October 2023. It was exactly how it looked on the website: tons of light, very comfortable and a lovely place to stay. We had a couple very tiny issues and OneFineStay was very responsive and dealt with them quickly.

"Not a Five Star Experience"

The location of the apartment and the view were great. The outdoor terrace was exceptional. On the other hand, we inquired about stairs when we were reserving the apartment, and we were informed that there was an elevator and stairs ONLY in the apartment. We were not informed of the narrow and steep stairs that must be climbed to get to the elevator. In addition, the shower (only one in the apartment) did not operate properly as there was barely a trickle of water from the shower head and barely any hot water, especially for three (3) people! The shower was a complete disappointment due to the heat of Florence and only able to take cold showers.

"Loved it"

Loved it. All worked so well. Booked last minute and the team accommodated me.

The only “issue” I had was with an early check in. I was coming from the USA and had a long wait time. I was happy to pay for an early check in but this wasn’t possible.

"The location is great and the…"

The location is great and the management is responsive. The sitting room furniture is worn and uncomfortable and the artwork is faded. With some minor upgrades the accommodation would be a five star.

"Exactly as advertised - lovely!"

The flat was exactly as it looked in the photos. The home "truths" were accurate - a little street noise could be heard. The lobby/entrance to the building was a bit underwhelming - especially as the apartment was of such high quality decor. I was a little worried at that point that the apartment would be less than advertised, but it was really lovely. I appreciated the communication from the whole team and our greater was charming and informative. We had everything we needed - plenty of towels, adequate kitchen items. The beds and furniture were comfortable. I would stay with One Fine Stay again.

"Unit was good"

1. First, overall the flat was as advertised, plenty of room and a good location.
2. The lack of air conditioning was a problem, and although we knew about it in advance, it would have been nice had the flat windows been opened and the fans started before our arrival. The temp in the flat was close to 90 degrees fahrenheit.
3. The young man who met us at the flat was personable, but not as helpful in terms of the workings of the apartment - we had to ask him questions - he was rather ready to hand us the keys and say goodbye. On our previous stay in London with One Fine Stay the young lady who met us at the flat was a wealth of information about the flat, the kitchen appliances, and the local area. Our greeter this time did give us his telephone number in the event that we had questions - but then never responded to texts.
4. The literature left in the flat was helpful - but could have gone farther. Our last stay included a list of the owner's favorite local restaurants, shops, etc. That along with an appliance tutorial would have been great reference materials to have on hand!
5. While we understand that this is someone's home, the amount of closet space, bureau drawers, freezer space and refrigerator , etc. that were blocked off from use made life more difficult for a two week stay. In particular the freezer - one drawer was quite limiting.
6. Communication with One Fine Stay was not as quick as we had experienced in the past - as mentioned above, but also via email. We did finally figure out the rubbish room!
7. The housekeeping mid stay was very good, and thank you for the linens and towels. We had asked our greeter (Nick, I think) for the linens - but I am assuming that this did not get passed along as I had to request them when checking on the housekeeping visit. It wasn't a big problem - but something you should be aware of for the future.

We would book with One Fine Stay again - our comments are meant to be helpful for you. We would rate the experience a 4. The lack of AC in most flats in London will most likely become more of an issue as climate change continues to heat the planet. We would certainly be more careful in booking anything without AC except after October!
