"Bought a Jorvik Mountain trike"

Bought a Jorvik Mountain trike. Delivered a day early, just as well I was in. Got bike shop to assemble as contrary to the "easy to assemble" claim, it was not. Very heavy to ride and hard to cycle uphill. Had to get bike shop to come and check gears, nothing wrong but he acknowledged that it was heavy to cycle. Suggested I need to get an e bike conversion kit. Having difficulty sourcing the correct one as Swytch doesn't do one for fat tyres. Can't get thinner tyres as not compatible with the frame. Jorvik technical department can't recommend a conversion kit, just refer me to ebay but knowing which one to buy is confusing. Do not buy this product unless you only want to cycle on the flat.

Where to start....what a kind, caring considerate company. I bought a trike from them 3 years ago. It was stolen a few weeks ago and came back to me because Jorvik bothered to tell me if sightings of it. Not only this, they also did some repairs and sourced some missing accessories for me. Komme mit JMT 7 250W jetzt in ebenem Gelände langsam ganz gut klar.
Kritik:
1.Habe erhebliche Schwierigkeiten bergauf anzufahren und finde die Elektrounterstüzung am Berg zu schwach
Haben Sie hierzu Tipps ?
2. Die Rechte Feststellbremse lässt sich nur mit großer Gewalt lösen.
3.Die fest angezogene Sattelstütze lässt sich nicht voll fixieren und hat weiterhin leichte
Dreh—Wackelbewegungen.
Ansonsten gefällt mir das Gerät weiterhin sehr gut.

"3 weeks with an expensive and useless trycicle..."

I´m really sorry to put a bad review but I have been trying for a couple of weeks to contact with the company because my new trycicle doesn´t work. Unfortunately, no satisfactory response from Jorvik. I bought the trycicle two months ago, received it with no problems, assembled it, everything looked perfect but when I switched on it didn´t work. I am quite sure it´s a little problem with the battery, a really little thing really easy to fix but nobody is answering. I have sent many mails to the different addresses, I have sent whatsapps, I have tried via Instagram, I have tried via LiveChat... I feel like Jorvik´ after sales dept is not really taking seriously my problem. The tricycle looks really well built, no problems with the package, the delivery, everything was ok until the mecanic problem appeared and then, surprisingly, the only way of getting an answer (not a satisfactory one) is instagram... right now, I have paid for a really big, red, nice piece of metal with 4" wide wheels that I can´t move because the battery doesn´t hold... and nobody is answering... disappointing...

Also, ich muss sagen.... Ich bin überglücklich.
Es macht so viel Spaß mit meinem JMT6 zu fahren.
Ich habe lange überlegt und gesucht, ob ich als 52jährige von meinem E-Bike auf ein Dreirad umsteigen soll. Nach jeder Tour denke ich, "das war die beste Anschaffung des Jahres".
Als Rheumatikerin musste ich in den letzten 10 Jahren jeweils an beiden Knie- und Hüftgelenken operiert werden. Das machte ein Fahrradfahren für mich viele Jahre unmöglich, da ich immer mit Disbalancen des Skeletts und der Muskeln zu tun hatte. Nach vielen Stunden Training im Wasser war es endlich soweit. Ich habe mir ein Fahrrad angeschafft. - Fahrradfahren verlernt man nicht. Aber... das Auf- und Absteigen....
Nach zwei Stürzen, der Angst und Unsicherheit, dass man wieder "hängen" bleibt, musste eine Alternative her. So bin ich im Internet zu Jorvik gekommen. Ein Trike aus England? Das waren wirklich die einzigen Bedenken. Ich habe viel verglichen, aber dieses JMT6 sollte es sein. Das Trike kam innerhalb von 14 Tagen bei mir an.
Die Endmontage, gemeinsam mit meinem Mann war auch nicht kompliziert und wir haben uns schon in dem Augenblick über die hochwertige Verarbeitung gefreut. Nun musste ich nur noch lernen zu fahren. Einfach mal alles, was ich vom Zweiradfahren im Kopf hatte vergessen. Einfach sitzen bleiben, und - lenken -. Ja, vor der elektrischen Unterstützung beim Anfahren hatte ich mega Respekt, aber, da habe ich mich schnell dran gewöhnt. Alles in allem, bin ich in den letzten 6 Wochen ca. 150 km gefahren - Suchtfaktor - Ob es einfach in den nächsten Ort zum Einkaufen ist, oder Freunde besuchen es passt einfach zu uns hier im mittleren Schleswig-Holstein, im Wald, auf Feldwegen oder am Nord-Ostsee-Kanal. Ich weiss schon gar nicht mehr, wo ich noch lang fahren soll. Mein Trike hatten wir auch im Autoanhänger mit in Dänemark im Ferienhausurlaub. So musste ich nicht mit dem Auto bis zum Strand fahren. - Gibt es für Dreiräder auch auch Autogepäckträger wie für Fahrräder????

Ich habe schon viel positive Resonanz auf das Trike erhalten. Jeder wollte mal Probefahren un die meisten haben es deutlich unterschätzt und die Bezeichnung "Seniorenrad" wurde sofort widerlegt. Aber wenn ich dann noch sehe, dass viele Senioren mit ihren E-Bikes eigentlich viel zu schnell unterwegs sind, hoffe ich, dass der ein oder andere vielleicht auch mal drüber nachdenkt, sich ein Trike anzuschaffen. -

Great service, especially the after care service. I had a minor knowledge issue with an error code, the person sent me a video on how to resloved the error.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone... I might buy one of these trike for my wife..

Purchased an Elite from Jorvik nearly a year ago and it`s been fabulous. One of the mud guard struts has broken but I am sure they`ll help me out. Good knowledgable team and more fun to ride than a bike. Especially when you keep falling off bikes! 5 star.

"Attempt to deny liability when faced with bad review"

I'd have far more respect for this company if they just accepted they were at fault and accepted my initial bad review. But no, they challenged it when they were demonstrably in the wrong and put me and Trustpilot to further inconvenience with the result being that my initial review stands. Company clearly tries to deny liability when they are in the wrong. Will they do the same with a product you buy from them?
