"They’ll take your money, but won’t give it back"

I ordered a belt for the holidays, which I received. However, it was too small and I wanted to exchange it. I received an email response to my exchange request and shipped out the item In early January. I paid the cost of their shipping the exchange item. However, it’s now mid-February and I haven’t received what I paid for. I have sent 3 emails, with no response. There is no other contact information for this company anywhere. The next email I will be sending will be to notify them that my credit card company will be issuing a chargeback and that I will be notifying other internet buyers and and filing complaints with the BBB, and the relevant consumer protection agencies.

"Can’t do a review on something you never recieved"

I never got a questioner before I got the merchandise before. I can’t review what I don’t have. I never even got a tracking #. I tried to call them to find out what this was about. Seems like it’s impossible to get through.

"No communication"

Ordered two items that stated they usually ship in 1 to 2 business days. It has been 12 business days and the only response from Orion Leather has been this survey request. Have sent multiple e-mails with no response. Have called multiple times, at different times, during their normal business hours only to get a recording. Unable to leave a voice message as their message box is full. Under "My Account" on their website the order is still showing as processing. Unable to cancel order on the website as it states the order has already shipped or has reached the final stages of processing.

"I'm going deep into the weeds here on…"

I'm going deep into the weeds here on my experience with Orion Leather. If you don't want to read my whole ramblings, the TL,DR is this: customer service is so horrible that it's practically nonexistent.

It's nearly impossible to get in touch with Orion's customer service. Shipping takes a long time, and their site confuses matters. According to the "Shipping Info" link on the bottom of the website, orders should ship fairly quickly. Specifically:

"Allow 1-2 business days to process your order and 3-5 business days for Ground Shipping from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina."

A week later and my order never shipped. I checked the "Order status" link on their site, but comes up blank like my order doesn't exist. I tried contacting Orion's customer service just to ask for some info regarding its status. First I sent a message through the "Contact Us" page on their site. No one responded, so the next day I sent them an email directly. No one answered that either. The next day I called their office, and no one answered the phone. The voicemail box is full and I couldn't leave a message. I called a few more times throughout the day with no success, so I sent another email. The day after that was more of the same. I called the office a bunch, no one answered, I sent an email.

At the end of that week I sent another email saying that if I didn't hear from them by the end of the next business day I would initiate proceedings to dispute the charge and get my money back. This got their attention, and I finally received a prompt response. They said their lead time was "7-14 days, as stated on the website, depending on orders ahead of mine" and I could expect my order to ship early next week.

Fine, it's not what I expected but at least they finally gave me an answer. I still wanted to know where that "7-14 days" figure was stated, because the only place I saw that number was in regards to international shipping. So I asked for clarification, and of course received no response.

I think I finally figured out where my confusion came from. While the "shipping info" page says 1-2 days, a different timeframe is shown in your cart before placing an order. There it states:

"During the busy holiday season, we require up to 7-21 business days for production so, when calculating delivery times, please add that amount to the estimated shipping time so that you may calculate an accurate delivery timeline."

I don't think end of January is the busy holiday season, but whatever. I guess I didn't notice the 7-21 day production thing when I placed the ordered. So when after a week and my order didn't ship, I was confused and concerned because the only easily accessible information told me it should have shipped already. That alone isn't a big deal, and I really don't mind waiting a bit longer.

The problem is that I constantly tried to get in touch with their customer service to figure things out and they ghosted me for a week straight. Only when I threatened to dispute payment did I get an answer, and even then they ignored my follow up question. The complete lack of customer service and communication is unacceptable.

I placed an order on Jan 20th. On Jan 31st I still had not received the item or any notifications other than the original confirmation email so I contacted the provided email requesting a status update and still have received no response.

"Zero communication"

Ordered 12 days ago and have heard nothing about my order besides receiving a receipt. Three e-mails have gone unanswered. Thankfully I used PayPal so I can make a claim through them to get my money back.
