I was thoroughly impressed with Diana Walker's team who helped me through the sale and purchase of properties simultaneously during a busy period in the pandemic. I was well looked after and there was always someone available to contact.

Lauren was particularly helpful, she was really diligent at providing updates and ensuring everything was progressing well.

The only reason this isn't a five star reivew is that at separate department at Ramsden's are required to make changes to Will's whereas it could have been easier if handled at the same time.

Our main conveyancing contact (Laura) is efficient, responsive and has a great attention to detail. She and her colleagues have identified issues that other solicitors working for the seller have missed, which resulted in us withdrawing from one potential purchase.

I have always found that Laura’s explanation of issues was always clear and very understandable to me as a layman and her persistence in following up on outstanding issues and queries has been invaluable in all our purchases.

Absolutely shockingly and appalling service, communication was non existent from Solicitor Veronica Mullins My fathers estate took 19 months to complete after severe chasing and expensive charges of which I still haven’t received an invoice of the breakdown of excessive charges which gave been deducted without my authorisation

"Professional"

Ramsdens acted as the solicitor for our recent property purchase. At first I was concerned as the communication from them was lacking; e-mails and messages I sent on the portal went without response. At some point however, when the transaction reached a more advanced stage, they were on the ball. It was still rare to be able to reach my solicitor directly on the phone, but e-mails and phone calls were returned fairly quickly. It was a relatively simple transaction and overall I'm happy with the professional job they did, but only 4 star as communication/customer service could have been better.

"Very poor service"

Very poor service. Communication non existent had to constantly chase. Hit a stumbling block and they took the easy option of trying to charge for additional work, sale eventually fell through. Only to discover that a different solicitors managed to get around the previous issue without any fuss. Best avoid if you want less stress.
