"Poor customer service"

Poor customer service, poor communication, appalling systems dated back 40-50 years with no capability to be flexible or help. There is a customer service department and only one person in production who can pass information over, unless it’s his day off then no one can help. Even when he is there he can’t say what is missing or how long it will take he will only tell customer service that it’s delayed for an undisclosed amount of time with no indication as to why. Very very stressful experience. The couriers were wonderful. Nice and helpful without any pushing. Complete contrast. Real shame, it could have been so wonderful even with the delay. Problems happen we all are ok with that, just deal with it.

"Disappointing buy."

Like the fabric and colours it fits in with my decor.
The seating cushion was
mis- shapen which I don’t like, as in the shop it was quite flat but I expect not able to change it now, also when i bought it in store, it included a cushion which added to its appeal for me, but on receipt of chair, it was minus the cushion which was very disappointing so i really wish I hadn’t bought it !

"The sofa was delivered unstitched"

The sofa was delivered unstitched. The delivery company reported the issue once they assembled the sofa and so the problem, I also called The Lounge and reported the problem right away. I was told that stitching will be arrange and someone will be sent at my home to fix it. I waited 2 weeks for that and when the person who was supposed to stich the sofa showed up this morning he said that he didn't have enough time booked to stich the sofa... I don't understand why he came at all and didn't fix the sofa!
I am not clear on how this is going to be fixed. I reported that to The Lounge again and waiting for a response. This is a huge inconvenience as I order the sofa well in advance (in January) and today I stayed at home and didn't got to work as I was told that somebody is coming to fix the problem with the sofa, but that didn't happen.

"I recently bought a Joshua chair from…"

I recently bought a Joshua chair from The Lounge Co. but what a disappointment. I chose the paradise bird fabric which is lovely but unfortunately they haven’t matched the fabric where it meets in the middle. It looks really weird, one bird looks like a mutant because it has two wings. It’s also puckered where they’ve stitched it. I emailed The Lounge company and explained my disappointment but they’ve told me, due to the cutting and the pattern I've chosen it’s impossible to line it up properly. So basically it’s my fault for choosing it. Our decorator has no problem matching patterns on wallpaper but it’s too much of an ask for The Lounge company to do the same. We currently have a skip on the drive as we’re having work done in the house, my husband is going to throw it on the top.
Oh and it feels like it’s been overstuffed, when I sit on it my legs are sticking straight out in front of me but I’m also sinking into the back of it, very strange feeling.
Its been a disaster.

"Sofas that are actually comfortable"

We spent days trapesing around numerous different sofa shops and were amazed by how ridiculously uncomfortable 99% of them were. We walked into the lounge co. defeated and sat down...every sofa was so comfortable some of them unbelievably so. We picked a durable velvet-y fabric that looks great, plus a footstool, and it was still half the price of some of the other sofas we'd seen. Definitely visit this shop in your search if you want something you actually enjoy sitting on as well as looking good. Thank you lounge co you saved our sanity!

"Poor customer service."

First off I would like to say that the sofa is nice but I have had to wait double the time to receive it as was quoted 8/9 weeks and took around 18 weeks for delivery. I had a first delivery date, took the day off and then was told for final checks would not be ready so had to wait another week and another day off work. Finally delivered and turns out my corner sofa had different travel feet on it, and couldn’t add the proper legs as one section didn’t have the screw in bit to add them. I’m now sat on a sofa that doesn’t fit together as slightly different heights and have to take another day off work to get someone to come to my house to rectify the error and the only compensation offered was two scattered cushions, joke. Had better customer service from other furniture stores where the sofa had been much cheaper
