"Great experience from start to finish!"

The staff in the showroom were incredibly patient and helpful. The sofa was made in quick time ahead of schedule and delivered witb great care. The sofa itself is gorgeous, comfortable and great quality! Great experience all around!

"I'd avoid."

I'd avoid.

Very disappointing - we gave them another chance following previous bad experience (review also on Trustpilot) which we were assured was one-off...won't make the same mistake again!

08 January - sofa order placed

19 January - "...our manufacturer have now firmed up the production plan for your furniture. They have advised that they plan to have it finished and sent out to our courier’s depot on February 16th. This date may be subject to change...but we rarely see it shift by any more than a week in either direction."

17 February - contacted The Lounge Co. for update as no communication

20 February - "We have checked your order this morning and it will be transported into Wincanton’s depot tomorrow. You will be contacted shortly by Wincanton our delivery partners..."

28 February - contacted The Lounge Co. for update as no communication

28 February - We apologise that your order did not complete and deliver into Wincanton’s depot as scheduled...As soon as we have a new delivery date into Wincanton we will update you.

08 March - contacted The Lounge Co. for update as no communication

08 March - "Your order is in the final stages of the manufacturing process. Providing that it passes the quality control checks, it should be booked onto a load into Wincanton’s depot."

25 March - contacted The Lounge Co. for update as no communication

27 March - "Your order will be completing the manufacturing process in the last few days in March. As soon as your order is completed, Wincanton our delivery partners will be in contact with you..."

05 April - contacted The Lounge Co. for update as no communication

11 April - contacted The Lounge Co. for update as no communication

11 April - "We apologise that your order has been delayed due to a fabric imperfection that has caused a delay. We have asked the manufacturer for a new update today and to provide a completion date. As soon as they provide us with this new completion date, we will email you."

18 April - "Thank you for your patience...We have heard from our manufacturer that there was an issue with part of the fabric during our rigorous quality checks, and they have requested a piece of the fabric cover to be recut from the same batch of fabric. This has unfortunately delayed your order a little and they currently estimate it will be another 2-3 weeks before we will be able to despatch your order to the courier’s depot."

18 April - contacted The Lounge Co. as unhappy with communication

18 April - "I’m sorry that you are disappointed with our service, we are just as frustrated as you that your order has been delayed, and it is not the service we had hoped to offer. As soon as the recut fabric has arrived, your order will be expedited through production and we will contact you when ready to book your home delivery date."

18 April (didn't receive this email, found on another email chain) - "We’re writing to remind you that your furniture is planned to be completed by our manufacturer and leave for our courier’s depot later this week. We have now passed the delivery details of your order to Wincanton, our courier, they will upload it onto their system and you should hear from them presently to confirm it is live, however the delivery will not be able to be booked until their goods-in staff have confirmed that your order has arrived and is ready to go. Should anything happen over the coming days to prevent your items from leaving as planned we’ll be in touch to let you know."

19 April - "We’re writing to let you know that your furniture has been completed today and passed inspection ready to leave on the next vehicle headed to the Wincanton depot that services your area. Our manufacturer have a vehicle headed in that direction on Friday, and so your furniture will be with our courier before the weekend."

20 April - messaged by courier, sofa delivery arranged for 28 April

21 April - "Thank you for bearing with us these past months, we’re regrettably having to write with bad news regarding the delivery of your order. Our manufacturer have let us know this morning that components required to complete the upholstery of your furniture have not been received as expected and so they will not be finished in time to leave as planned today...we’ve asked Wincanton to hold off on booking delivery..."

21 April - "...our manufacturer advised us today, when prepping your items for dispatch, that they discovered similar staining on the material used to upholster your furniture that caused it to be delayed previously. As such they will not be able to send it as planned and the delivery that we booked for next week will not be possible. A full recut of the fabric has been requested again, with it due to arrive and be reupholstered the second week of May... we will process a discount of 5% of your order total as a gesture of goodwill..."

"We had a very quick and efficient…"

We had a very quick and efficient service from The Lounge Co. Unfortunately on arrival the settees were slightly marked, but the Lounge Co. Customer Service very quickly responded to this and arranged for an independent upholsterer to look at the settees and ascertain the work needed to be done to rectify the issues. We all agreed that this would be the best way forward, and this was very quickly booked in, and the settees looks absolutely perfect now. The Customer service were very efficient, polite and accommodating, and the settees look fantastic.

"My sofa arrived very promptly"

My sofa arrived very promptly, ahead of time. The whole service was responsive, efficient, everyone polite and helpful.
Love my sofa and stool. A big decision when you see in store but can never be sure about the real thing.
Just hope it lasts well. Seems like value for money.

"Love our new sofa"

Love our new sofa ! We’ve ordered Paloma from The Islington Showroom. The store is beautiful with full rage of the lounge co models and large fabric samples which is so helpful when choosing the right colour. Sales team are incredibly friendly, welcoming and knowledgable which made the whole process so easy - so thank you! Sofa arrived ahead of schedule and delivery men were very professional and polite! We are absolutely delighted.
