"Great service at the Islington store"

Glenn and Polina at the Islington store took a great deal of time and trouble to help us find the right sofa fabric to suit our decor swatches. They were courteous, attentive and really listened. Looking forward to seeing the final result in our home.

"Very poor quality"

Friendly customer service but appalling quality. Recieved after some delay a faulty sofa, repair team came out quickly but did not fix. Arranged replacement but seriously delayed. Eventually recieved replacement but same faults as original in new sofa after just 4 months. Sofa was not cheap in price but clearly suffers from design flaw leading to it becoming very creaky after little use. Very disappointing, would not buy from again.

"Really poor experience"

Really poor experience, with the sofa delivery cancelled the evening before it was due, due to one of the two sofas not being with the delivery company. Despite repeated attempts and requests to resolve this, customer services failed to address it, leaving us with no sofas for 10 days, due to existing ones having been collected the day before (as we had received confirmation of the delivery). No formal apology or offer of compensation has been received…..

"Do not buy from this company"

We ordered our sofa on August 10th 2021, with a 16-week lead time. After the 16 weeks had passed with no communication from The Lounge Company, I chased up the order to be told there would be a delay. There then followed a series of communications and further delays with ‘supply chain problems’ cited frequently. Eventually we were told the sofa was ready for delivery, and a date was arranged for next week - April 14th. Today, one week before delivery is due, I received an email saying the sofa was not completed and The Lounge Company would be in contact within the next fortnight to discuss matters. It is now EIGHT MONTHS since we placed our order. I can understand there being supply chain problems, but why tell us the sofa was ready for delivery when it clearly wasn’t yet made? Why tell us the delivery was being cancelled and saying they’d contact us within two weeks - as opposed to tomorrow? And throughout all of this, I receive marketing emails from the company once, sometimes twice a week, urging me to buy from them. Why encourage the purchase of products when you can’t fulfil the orders you’ve already got?
I urge anyone considering buying from The Lounge Company to look elsewhere.
I have given the company one star, because there is no facility to give it zero.

EDITED REVIEW AFTER RECEIVING REPLY: Whilst I appreciate a swift response, it doesn’t answer the problem. The issue here is genuinely not about supply chain problems, it’s about customer care, and the fact we were given one week’s notice that the delivery won’t take place, when you must have known well in advance that the product would not be available. I’ve now spoken to someone at Customer Care, who has informed me they are unable to provide a new delivery date. I have asked somebody more senior to call me back. I want a firm delivery date or a substantial discount - if neither of those are forthcoming, we will cancel the entire order.

"Our two high quality sofas arrived as promised"

Our two high quality sofas arrived as promised. The two delivery men were excellent and carefully removed our two old ones before replacing them with our two new ones. Very professional and never touched the sides. The two sofas are lovely. Well padded, nice and heavy which speaks of quality to me and we are very happy with our smart new look. We were told it would take a couple of months to get them made and delivered but it was well worth the wait.

"A great corner sofa!"

A very helpful and efficient company to deal with. The corner sofa I ordered came earlier than expected and is lovely quality. I’m very pleased.
Overall a very good experience. Thoroughly recommended.

"Absolutely gorgeous sofa and so…"

Absolutely gorgeous sofa and so comfy!!!

Took a while to deliver, as all things seem to these days, but was kept informed and the team at the Chiswick store were very helpful and courteous.
