In relation to below. Thank you Healthy Pets for getting in touch and for moving things forward for me. It's very much appreciated. I have received a claim settlement amount via email which does state what I was expecting and is absolutely in line with my policy. Thankfully, the funds have come through and I'm saved for Christmas!! It's nice that the customer service here isn't an Ai bot and that real humans responded on this for me. Thank you.
I have now called 2x times to chase my claim, they appear to have it and I was told the last time I phoned I would get a confirmation of receipt which I didn't get. So I've called again. My claim is thousands of pounds. I've had to put it on my credit card. I'm a single mother, it's Christmas and I can't afford to pay the credit card bill, yet I've been told it's going to take 4-6 weeks due to a 'backlog'...looking at all these reviews I'm now seriously concerned.

Shocking service and a 30 working day delay in getting my claim processed. Sad reflection on companies today. Still no action.

"This company is fine unless you need to claim"
This company is fine unless you actually need to claim. I submitted a claim in September. To be fair that was relatively straightforward and I was able to get through easily on the phone and received email forms and hard copies along with detailed advice from the call handler. Having submitted the claim I had a confirmation it had been received and then one that it had been verified but that processing would take 30-35 days due to “unprecedented demand” That is 6+ weeks and not acceptable when I am £000 out of pocket. Waited patiently and heard nothing more and it’s now 46 working days. I sent a formal complaint and received one response to apologise that the claim was outside their timescales due to a “backlog” and a separate one to acknowledge my complaint which will receive a response within 8 weeks. I found it quite telling that one of their emails has come from an address called “insurance factory”. My experience is that this company is well set up to take out policies but has not matched that with claim handling capacity so you may as well not bother
