"Broken button on the trousers!"
I ordered my suit from UK to Denmark and received it last monday 19-08-2024. The button on the trousers was already loose and hanging and when I tried the trousers the button fell off. I wrote to H&C immediately and also sent them pictures but they have still not handled my complain. Further more there was no button on the inside of the double breasted suit jacket! That is the first time I have seen a suit in such a bad and cheap quality! So now I have spend money for trailor to fix the faults on the suit.
I have been buying shirts from H&C since last 20 years but now I am buying from Charles Tyrwhitt since their shirts are much better quality and more comfortable. I am sorry to say that I am very disappointed to the quality and customer service from Hawes & Curtis!

"Very poor all round"
Very poor all round, not impressed at all. Who wants a suit without the trousers! Poor communication with the customer. I requested the cancellation promptly but this was not actioned fully or even acknowledged. H&C sent £43
of goods and charged me the full amount of £204. That is unacceptable.

"Sent me a ripped shirt and they refused to refund it."
Order an expensive shirt from them, always found their sizes very good however the shirt arrived ripped on the shoulder. I rang them instantly as I needed the shirt a couple of days later to be told there was no delivery option to replace it. I was then asked to email in and send photos which I did where I was bluntly told that I have worn the shirt (so they assumed I caused the damage) as it was in packaged (I obviously would not be able to see the rip when it was packaged and folded up) although I called their customer services two minutes after opening the parcel. I was offered a 10% refund and when declined I was ignored which meant I had to chase them up. I then had to pay for delivery back to them for them to inspect the shirt (although they didn’t tell me this was a option before trying to fob me off with a 10% refund) where they realised the faulty shirt was not worn and was delivered like that. They then refunded me the cost of the shirt minus the delivery fee I paid to receive the shirt and the fee I paid to send it back. So it’s cost me to receive a ripped shirt and return it to them. I will not be using the company again due to poor customer service and communication.

Have always shopped at Hawes and Curtis due to the outstanding quality of the shirts alongside the wide variety of styles on offer which similar brands can’t match. Always delighted to pop in store and the alternation service has been a particularly speedy process with the Canary Wharf team who make sure the fit is just right. Never been happier with the service.

"Needs improvement in customer service."
Ordered two items that said they had been in stock. The company then sent one with no explanation about the other item until i chased them and they then stated it was out of stock. Poor customer service that basically just wants your money with no communication whatsoever. Never again !

From the order, to the confirmation, the delivery in a protective carton box to Belgium, the email communication, and the after care mail with washing and drying instructions. The customer experience is top. Will order again soon. The quality of the shirts is top. The cotton feels great!

Excellent service as the shirt I requested was found to be out of stock after I had ordered. Staff managed to offer an alternative quickly and of better quality.
I have always liked Hawes and Curtis for the quality of their products now I can say their customer service is equally good.

Hawes and Curtis on Jermyn Street consistently look after me so well. From those who I know the names of like Justyna and Josh to those who on the odd occasion get asked to support my ever growing needs of support, I honestly do receive top level service each and every time I enter the store.
I do need to give a special shoutout to Justyna though who has hand-held me through ensuring my shorts get tailored correctly as well as steaming a new shirt that I urgently needed last minute whilst on the way out. My custom will be loyal to this store for as long as it’s accessible due to the fantastic staff that look after me so greatly,

"A Wonderful Discovery for me"
Even though the shirts I ordered (online) were on sale, the quality is still excellent - made of BCI organic cotton and beautifully detailed, they were the best value for money I've encountered.
Their CS department is superb - especially CS agent Fatima, who was professional, patient and knowledgeable, and returns for size exchange was incredibly easy.
