The saying if it's to good to be true it probably is. No returns on faulty good as it's there policy 80% of all electronic products I have won from this auction site have been faulty. Most of them are obviously faulty shop returns.

Purchased a Go Pro camera. It never worked, totally dead. No mention in description that it had any faults, picture in bid description showed a working camera. Viewed the item but was unable to check whether it worked or not as there was no charging cable available. John Pye reaction to it being sold in a unusable condition was that I should have tested the item (this wasn't possible), I shouldn't have bid on an item I had not seen working (in retrospect true), Lots are not sold as working or fit for any purpose. Pictures supplied are for illustrative purposes.
Perhaps I had been lucky in my previous purchases, but I WILL NEVER USE JOHN PYE AGAIN and urge everyone else to not use them.

Bought a swimming pool kit for the grandkids online. The photos showed the box open, but none of the contents. This was unfortunately for me was a very big disappointment for me. The box contained no swimming pool liner, no swimming pool poles, no pump, no fillter. Did contain one small kids in flatable ring,this did inflate, two inflatable dumbell type of toys. These were slashed. One used washing machine drum seal. Used garden lights! Didn't try but the looked knackered. Two manky plastic sheets. One poor quality used holdall. Then three medium size rocks, in clean condition. Didn't bother complaining after got nowhere after receiving a sideboard bought a few days earlier witch arrived in bits and nowhere with JP customer services.

I bought a pushchair and the picture was a box in just one side so ppl think it’s new and never opened but unfortunately when I went to collect them I saw the box was opened and all part are broken. They could take pics on that side but they decided to not show it and ppl over pay for this piece of junk. How shame !!!

Yet again I end up with items missing from a Lot number. Not for the first time. All you get from the helpline is that the parcels have been delivered.It seems to happen a lot. I have got in touch before and one time they didn’t even respond. Everything is thrown in a box and gets crushed and leaks causing more loss due to leaking items. So poor.

Agree with other reviewers. Auction buys hit and miss, pictures often misleading, no info if item damaged or faulty.
Also, even if successful in purchasing lot, no guarantee it will actually be delivered. Often parts of lot are missing or wrong item sent. Customer service poor. Have been chasing after item bought at Birmingham auction on 18/08. Wrong item delivered twice, then provided with tracking number which related to delivery a week earlier to different person in different town. Contacted Head Office and ask for call back from manager, only to find case got passed back to previous cs agent who is useless. No complaints procedure av on website (other than for property). Emailed MD a week ago, still no reply.

Would not recommend! Gold arrives damaged and wrong ct. Clothing arrived miss labeled and cut ✂️. Scam !
Would never recommend to anyone to have to deal with them! You will not get what you ordered!

This is not an auction. They initially offer the goods at a price that they will never sell the goods to you at. You bid and are told that another bidder is beating your bid. That other bidder is the auction house who will keep telling you another bidder is beating your bid until it reaches a pre-determined price they are willing to sell it at. More a case of guess what price we have set on this item.

Very disappointed, won 4 wireless speaker and all 4 doesn't work, there was no information on the page that they are selling foully items. Avoid this auction if you can.
