"The most arrogant and elitist bike shop…"
The most arrogant and elitist bike shop in london:
I was passing with my family on a bike ride and my pedal failed. I pulled in to ask them for help and an extremely surly staff remember came to the door said that I would have to book it in to their workshop! I pointed out that I was in need of help then and there but he said 'someone has nicked our spanner'. I asked if they (being a bike shop) might have another one and he said they didn't. I asked if perhaps they could sell me a spanner and he replied that they dont sell them. About as unfriendly and unhelpful as it was possible to be. I was completely flabbergasted.
Obviously they are enjoying very good trade at the moment and feel that customer service can go hang. I went to a hardwear store along the street and they were very helpful and got their tool box out. I gave them £10 for their trouble and we went on our way.
I it is a great pity that they are so up themselves. I am actually about to buy an electric bike for £3-4k and their shop was one I was going to visit. Clearly they dont need the business. Fully Charged in Bermondsey see to understand how to treat people.

"I placed an online order with…"
I placed an online order with Velorution nearly 2 months ago for an item (Gates Carbon Drive Belt) which was listed as 'in stock' on the website. Nothing has been delivered. My credit card was debited on the day the order was placed. I've sent multiple emails to enquire about delivery date and phoned several times. The people who usually answer the phone say that they don't know anything about the online orders (despite the phone number being the one on the online order acknowledgement). When I finally spoke to someone who handled the online orders he apologised, explained that the item was not in stock and had to be ordered from Gates and claimed that their delivery had gone astray, he promised delivery in a few days. That was over a week ago but nothing has been delivered. It's beginning to looks as if Velorution's online operation is a scam. Avoid!

"disappointed"
I bought my Brompton from hackney branch they were absolutely non communicative throughout the process and gave me no information about my free service within 90 days AND literally ignored me. Was very disappointed.
Secondly again....
I had a crash and this time I went to Velorution in Islington. I left my bike for a week and once I collected the cycle but didn’t ride it home, I used public transport- no helmet on me at the time.
Anyway
3 days later on my route to work I realised my back tyre was not inflated. Phoned them and the response was:- my cycle was checked! And the tyres were inflated.
I was furious as a simple thing like this was missed. My back tyre was obviously not inflated at all as it was squishy and very soft to touch.
Before my crash there was nothing wrong with my tyres.
I wanted my bike to be safe to ride.
THIS HAS MADE ME QUESTION WHETHER MY CYCLE WAS EVER CHECKED AT ALL.
To add the guy on the phone in Islington not the repair guy is an absolute diamond.

"I ordered the magazine via the free…"
I ordered the magazine via the free code.
Sadly, I have been unable to download any of them. “Something went wrong”
Had I paid for them, I would be quite annoyed. As it is, merely mildly disappointed.

"I “purchased” for free the downloadable…"
I “purchased” for free the downloadable magazine a week ago and after several attempts I have been unable to download it. It has happened before with a similar Velorution magazine offer as well, unfortunately.

"I ordered a digital download twice and…"
I ordered a digital download twice and unfortunately never received it on either occasion, in spite of following the instructions, together with the discount code. A pity...

"The free magazine offer never…"
The free magazine offer never materialised which is disappointing and counterproductive.

"Order arrived on time and quickly"
Order arrived on time and quickly. Th only problem was that one piece was not in the parcel and we were not informed that it was out of stock. We had to call the shop to know about it.
