"During this world crisis we’re having…"

During this world crisis we’re having (Coronavirus) I’ve found my business is now not making any money, I contacted all my creditors to ask for a payment break, all my creditors were very helpful and allowed me 2-3 months break from payments, except for amigo loans.

They said they would give me a break of 15 days. The day after my original payment was due, I got a text to say my account was now in arrears!!!

I don’t have money for rent or food and I have a 6 month old baby, my partner has lost his job due to the epidemic. Now I have to save a scape to pay this payment to amigo loans, Why is this company punishing people affected by Coronavirus?

Most other creditors are delaying loan payments for 2-3 months and making sure credit is not affected by this, why can’t amigo loans do this also? This is a selfish company! Nothing like kicking you while your down

I'm a gaurantor for what was a member of our family and with this coronvirious situation they dont give a sgit they've took money out of my account when I have no funds to pay my Bill's I'm absolutely disgusted and angry right now as I'm not getting full pay and they've landed in a right predicament with my mortgage I've emailed and tried phoning bit knowbody has replied at all since thursday last week do not take a loan out with these they dont give a mokeys about your circumstances I'm fuming..

I have emailed you and tried to ring to see if I can lower my payments for next 2 months why my work hours have gone and I've heard nothing this is giving me anxiety and sleepless nights because of the uncertainty of it all I'm willing to make a payment just to lower it for 2 months until work resumes back to normal and I've had nothing back

"Cut me off the phone after I asked to speak, because the agent was not hearing my situation."

Due to the current economic situation, I called in to set up a payment arrangement for the next month as I was unable to make my usual amount of payment.

I waited for 2 hr 34 mins to speak to an agent, 'Steven Critchley', understandable because I am sure other people are waiting to speak to the call centre as well.
When I got through, the agent asked for information about my current situation and explained saying I am out of work, can I request a payment arrangement.

In which he continued to just explain about company policy and how he can not set-up the payment arrangement because I have received my last month's pay which is enough to cover future loan payment. Despite me telling him that I need that money to pay for essentials like food because I am self-employed and not sure when I will get work again.

The agent was not considerate and when I asked him to let me speak he cut me off the phone. Amigo loans you need to train you, customer advisors, to deal with a customer, not cut someone off the phone when they're trying to explain their situation. FYI I was agitated but not shouting nor used any explicit language.

When large companies are struggling to pay their employees and rent, you are still reiterating company policy to customers, please review your company policy! The whole country is in the same situation, and you have a moral obligation.

Absolute terrible company do not use these poor poor company who don’t help people out when there is serious issues! Don’t answer emails but tell you to email them liers!! Then send you an auto copy on here to fob you off! I’ll be leaving reviews everyday to make sure we get the rating down for this poor poor company who you can’t get intouch with for help !!

Cant get in contact with them 2 hours wait on phone or replies on emails and in the time of situation it's very important to get in contact to sort out dates or payment die to the corna virus. Shocking there should be 24/7 contact incase of this .

"OMG don't use this company"

OMG don't use this company, I was 98.00 short on my last payment as I had to pay an expensive plumber and I called them to say I would pay the shortfall before the next payment was due and guess what they sent constant emails to my guarantor to pay it, so even if your are honest with them and call they still hound you for the money, loan sharks!!! Avoid they do not help when you need it.

Okay the Staff themsleves are polite but, i just keep getting fobbed off all the time.
I applied for a Loan on 11th March 2020, filled everything in correctly. My Guarantor, (who owns a farm with 69 acres of land so as you can see is a perfect gaurantor) completed thereside the next day on 12th March 2020, Bank Statements were suplied, i did not get any information back, so i thought fine, i was told when i chased by phone that i needed to supply bank statments, i have no problem with this but this could have been asked originally, i supplied these on Wednesday 18th March 2020, which i might add i had to ring and chase multiple times what was going on. Again days passed and i heard nothing, my Guaraontor and my self chased, as i am a key worker and i am at work. I got a call and and an email on monday 23rd March 2020 that to call as they wanted to pay out, i called on my dinner to be told they cannot pass me THROUGH, why ask me to call then, so i rang again monday evening 23rd march 2020, went through everything and then i was told and they said they are happy, and will be txted shortly to be paid out. AGAIN NOTHING rang up Wednesday 25th to chase up and now said there was a problem SURPRISE, but i would be called back that evening, guess what nothing, this is now SATURDAY 28/3/2020 and still nothing i understand what is going on in the world but i am a Key worker and lucky for me i will not be effected via job loss, as i have been with my company for 19 years. I Feel massively let dow by Amigo, if you are going say no then just do it, just do not drag things on and treat people like dirt, fobbing of with lies, i have no idea what is happening with my loan request because they tell you nothing, never ring you back and because of the time passed i do not care, they only get 1 star for the polite staff. AVOID
They have now come back after 3 weeks saying my guarantor does not meet the criteria, what a joke, she has no mortgage and owns her own farm. She spoke to them originally, supplied bank statements and everything was fine. Abosulte joke of a company,
