"Total scam, avoid at all costs..."

This company took over a contract we signed with another company 5 years ago. We started calling 6 months ago looking for month-to-month options (with intentions to remain with them for alarm services). We were told to wait until our contract expired this month at which time we can make adjustments to the contract. After another attempt last month to seek information about our upcoming billing adjustments, we were told by the agent we would be placed on a month to month contract. As of today, our contract auto-renewed yesterday with no notice for a 2 year term. Calling fluent, they informed me that I needed to cancel in writing 60 days in advance (we were not notified of this, but we have talked to them several times over the last 6 months) and now they are demanding $2300 to buy out the new contract we did not sign. If we cancel their billings, they threaten to take us to collections and ruin our credit. They were rude and dismissive on the phone, which is so unfortunate for customers who were perfectly happy with their monitoring services in general and just wanted to some customer service. We have gone to the BBB, our provincial consumer authority, and I will be more than happy to engage laywers. If my credit is affected one point, we will seek damages in court. Stay away from this company, this may very well be one of the biggest scams out there.

"My Fluent system has not been working…..."

My Fluent system has not been working for 4 months now. I've called several times and each time they promise me that they will send someone out to repair it. No one has called back or came to fix my system. I requested that they stop charging me until it is fixed but they won't I am still paying for a system that doesn't work 4 months later. Do not do business with these folks!!!!!! They are a total scam!!!!!

Total scammers! All they care about is your money, they scam you into staying with them more time in a contract without telling you they automatically renewed you. They hung up on us when we declined their offer to renew our contract 😅 Such an unprofessional and crooked company. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY!

"Worst company ever!!!!..."

Worst company ever!!!!! After using them for years we moved from Alberta to Saskatchewan a year ago. We were told then they didn't service the area but had to pay out our contract. After doing that they still have continued to take it money out of out account. After instructing my husband to send an email to a certain email address to cancel they took ANOTHER payment. After phoning today we were informed they DO service Saskatchewan and we paid an entire but received NO services. And then said they were taking ANOTHER payment and a letter needs to be mailed. These are scammers and I will be going to the better business bureau and continuing to spread this to whoever I can. They are legit Scammers.

Unfortunately this is one of the companies that should no longer operate in Canada. Disastrous service, unprofessional and mediocre. My contract ended and I have been waiting 23 days a month for you to answer the number 855-828-5760 and after 40 minutes they answer and immediately hang up. I think they see the caller ID and know who you are. They continue and continue charging and I have not had camera service for more than 10 months! They robbed me 4 times and I could never see who?!!! These phones and people who are not guilty but surely a couple of other irresponsible and ignorant people are behind this.

I have more names and surnames but it will be enough I just want to cancel the service immediately. and never hear more about this filthy memory. It is not possible that I cannot cancel a garbage service in more than a month, on August 30, 2023, my contract ended!! This was added to the court as well.

"Do not sign a contract with this company..."

I would give this company a negative ten star rating if it was possible. My account was due to expire in May 2023, I called to make sure not to renew the contract as I no longer want this system, or live in the residence that I installed this system in. I continued to be charged well after my contract was supposed to expire. I had to call my bank to stop payments to this company and I continue to receive emails from their collections department saying I owe money. I’ve sent countless emails, left phone messages, and been proactive to make sure to cancel my account well before the contract was up to avoid any unnecessary payments. It is September 2023 now and I continue to have to deal with this. I just received a notice from collections “final notice” saying my credit will be affected if I don’t make this payment. I do NOT recommend this company, it feels like a scam now that I’m trying to end a contract that was set to end months ago. If my credit is affected by this I will be looking into legal action.
