If you are looking to send in the letter of cancellation don’t use the address that they provide on their official website. It is not correct. Received a certified letter I spent 10.98 to send back because the they provided the incorrect address. How convenient…..
Overcharged and failed to repay. They have literally told me the cheques in the mail multiple times.
Have made several attempts to contact and given the run around. Have made several requests to cancel service as we are in a month to month contract to no avail. Feeling as if we are being held hostage.
In response to your question about how we can remedy this situation, I have a few suggestions.
You could have someone from the resolution centre return our phone call. We’ve been waiting over a week for a return phone call. You could also update your ridiculous and archaic policies regarding cancellation of your month to month contracts. Another suggestion would be to accept other forms of payment as I don’t trust your company with my credit card number any longer. You will store my card information and continue to charge me a service I do not want when you owe me money for being over charged then threaten to take me to collections. Not sure how to resolve the issue when the company won’t return phone calls….
It is October 19th and we are still held in a month to month contract for a home we sold 60 days ago. I have contacted Fluent approx 7 times and have been told every time that my file has been escalated to a manager but I am still waiting for a phone call…. Literally the longest 3-5 business days of my life. I have repeatedly asked to speak to the resolution centre but it seems as though their system is set up to keep you from gaining a resolution. Every time I call they suggest that I convince the new owners to take over the contract… which is hilarious… like I would ever put another person in such a position.

"Can I leave zero stars"
Can I leave zero stars? We had fluent for 3 years only because we were under contract. When our contract was up we were more than happy cancelling our service. It is October 25th and we have been trying to cancel since July. They will not cancel our service. We have been paying for a service we are not using for months. We have completely disabled the alarm system and are still being charged. My husband and myself have tried calling a canceling it multiple times. There is not a direct line to their "Resolutions" department. The only way to cancel your service is to call customer service, they put in an order, then Resolutions will give you a call back in 3-5 business days. Well we've had multiple orders sent into Resolutions and have yet to receive a call back so we can cancel. This company is a SCAM. I wouldn't recommend this alarm company to my worst enemy.

"The worst company to deal with"
The worst company to deal with! If I could give negative stars I would! As they don't deserve even one!
To begin with it was a huge lie! The agent who offered us this business told us it's for 2 years (but in agreement he wrote 5!) Yes, I know -it's our fault that we didn't check, but we trusted the guy who was sitting at our table and drinking our tea with our sweets!!!
There is no connection! Like these guys do not get the signals from our area the coverage is next to minus!
And now, being paying for 5 years for the air we CANNOT cancel the service!!!!! We called 2 months before ending, they refused even to talk the girl from resolution department just hung up on my husband, she said call back in a month. He called back in a month, was on the phone forever, the guy said it's all dine and the agreement will be cancelled as of October 8/2021. We called when noticed the payment in October was taken again. Were told that it will be over as of October 8 and we will get a cancellation email. (We called October 5th) .
On October 8 no email and we keep getting notifications about our security system not turned on(we moved and left all the equipment in that house). We called again today-October 18th and a girls from customer service said that we are still connected but she does see the notes that we called several times and asked to cancel the service!
So looks like it's never gonna end! And I'm just warning anyone who is thinking to have an agreement with these guys-please DON'T!!!!! NEVER EVER!

like they are kinda selling a legit product, but their security system is like placebo! It's empty. And if God forbid you are in a real jeopardy they won't help you!!!!!

"IT'S A SCAM"
IT'S A SCAM. Overall it was a great system for 5 years until we needed to cancel our policy. It is exceptionally difficult to cancel (please refer to your original contract) but essentially need to provide written statement. No one will call us back, awful customer service. Please DO NOT GET THIS SERVICE!

"No respect for the elderly"
This company had the audacity to con our 86 year old mother with dementia into a contract when she already had one with another company. She was told that they would look after the old contract which was with Vivant. They of course did not and she had to pay it out to the tune of $900.00. Now in a seniors home, scraping by on a pension they want over $700.00 to end her contract. Beware of these evil people who will do anything for a commission.

"WORST COMPANY EVER"
Poor communication, no contract documentation other than their own statements. The only way to get responses is to file a complaint with BBB, and then they provide digital statements and documents that can easily by made by anyone. Every piece of equipment on the system has been malfunctioned for over a year, and not one shred of communication from these twits. Worst company we have ever dealt with. The only reason they even get one star is because zero is not available - DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THESE CROOKS!!!

"Fluent is a terrible alarm company"
Fluent is a terrible alarm company. The service was adequate, when it was working. You are only allowed a small amount of storage space for videos a month that was usually filled up within a week. Was told I could cancel the service when I moved out of the country only to return home 2 years later to find out they had sent my account to collections and alerted the credit bureau.

Do not sign any contracts with this company. They do not give you the contract nor do they tell you about the automatic renewal at the end of your contract which sucks you into another 3 years. Extremely poor business practices. You can’t cancel your contract unless you send your request no less than 30 prior to the end of the contract and it must be in writing and sent certified mail.

This company is SO BAD! STAY AWAY! Almost impossible to cancel the contract even when you are following their cancellation guidelines. For a company to intentionally write a contract to screw people to auto renew is awful. Attorney generals need to shut this shady business down.

FLUENT is as shady as they can get. DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THEM WHATSOEVER; they are very deceiving and manipulative and liars. I was a customer for 3 years, I had to keep paying for their service that never worked. I then tried to cancel multiple times, because we are building a new home. dont need any service. But only would ever get the resolution team, but the final time calling they told me it was too late and it auto renewed. I would have to pay the full bill. I kept my end of the bargain by paying for 3 years for a service that never worked. I blasted them on every review site, While then I still have been paying for a service im not even using. I called In august because payments werent going through, so i figured maybe they did the right thing for once and canceled. Waited on hold for 30 minutes for a rep to tell me couldnt find my account then finally did and told me it got canceled. I then today got called saying im 2 months past due, wont cancel the guy wanted to argue with telling me to read the contract they have best customer service and he will be sending me to collections if i dont pay. WHAT KIND OF COMPANY ARE YOU? JUST TAKING ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE. I WILL NOT STOP UNTIL ITS CANCELED
