BE CARREFULL. A FRAUDULANT COMPANIE WEALTHSIMPLE
1) It's a fraudulent company. Be careful with your money. They came to block your account for no reason to get your money.
2) customer service unable to solve any problems because they are independent of the back end team which is cheating.
3) hidden fees for each transaction
4) false advertising
5) when you buy an action your money falls in the market because they sell you actions more incorrect and different from the market. Even if tge market will rise up, it's impossible to get your money back. A lot of fees charged by wealthsimple and price diffrent than market that you are usually loser
1) C'est une companie fraudeuse. Faite attention a votre argent. Ils vont bloquer ton compte sans aucune raison pour mettre la main son ton argent.
2) service clientele incapable de résoudre aucun problème car ils sont indépendant de l'équipe back end qui eix fraude ton argent.
3) des frais caché pour chaque transaction
4) publicité mensangère
5) dès que tu achète une action ton argent tombe dans le marché car ils te font vendre des actions incorrecte et frauduleuse et différent du marché. Même si les actions mentent en bourse impossible que tu vas récupèrer ton argent.
Fait attention c'est une companie de fraude.

"Did not deliver my APE shares at 1¢"
Did not deliver my APE shares correctly. They're supposed to be $0.01/share and I deserved 100% profit. They bought the share and gave it to me at $6 95/share. That's fraud. I'm giving 0 stars.

"Needs a lot of improvement…"
While acknowledging that Wealthsimple has provided much needed portal for individual investors in Canada, there are some things that are not need improvements:
1.Most irritating part of trading on portal is that Limit Orders do not execute even if the stock reaches the target price set for the order.
2. Portal display does not provide portfolio information in conducive manner. App information is sometimes better displayed than website.
3. Bank details once added can't be removed. Website does not have option to remove bank information added. Only app has that facility. However, in my case even after removing information via customer service rep. I still see it in my account.
4. Customer service representative asks for log in information and OPT sent to your email. BIG security flaw.
5. Customer service often copy pastes information from standard scripted responses/literature. I wonder if they understand the literature themselves or just copy paste information based on key words in the questions. Hence, it becomes very irritating to communicate with the customer service agents on the chat.

They didn't allow my friend to access on his account, Maybe a month now. After a week they freeze the account, my friend received an email about some transactions that he never did, because he can't accessed on his wealthsimple account, he also have money in his account. Then now, they terminating him on wealthsimple and asking my friend to pay for the transactions that he never did. Is there a chance from IIROC to look into this if he make a complaint? Thanks

"Definitely not recommended"
Wealthsimple Trade is a terrible service which is why they're offering "free trades". If you deposit/withdrawl it locks your funds for days before you can access them. Expensive currency exchange, delayed data, no after hours trading... It's basically trading with a handicap. Go with TradeZero or Interactive Brokers instead...

"Easy to use, great customer service"
I’m surprised by the comments. Customer service is super friendly and rapid. Especially Compared to my traditional bank which I can be on hold for a long long time! You can even set a call back.
I am new in trading and I find this app very easy to use. I do not have premium for now and love it so far. Since I use the free version I can practice buying stocks with very low amounts since it is free for most transactions. I don’t think any other trading app offers the choice to trade without any fees!
There is a lot of fraud out there with trading, so this is a safe plateforme.
I also downloaded their cash application card. It gives you cash back of 1% not on your balance but for every purchase you do with it. Which is better then nothing…. traditional bank accounts don’t do this!
