Title: Unauthorized ATM Withdrawals from My Account – Woodforestbank
Matter:
I am experiencing an unresolved issue with unauthorized ATM withdrawals from my account with Woodforest Bank in Bradley, Illinois. Despite reporting the issue and filing a police complaint, my case remains unresolved.
Between February 20, 2020, and August 2020, my account experienced several unauthorized withdrawals made from a Woodforest ATM. After investigating the matter, the police confirmed that the individual responsible had access to my ATM card and PIN. However, the police closed the case due to a lack of evidence and the absence of any CCTV footage from the ATM.
I have attached the police report and have contacted Woodforest Bank on several occasions to address this issue, but have not received a satisfactory resolution. The police case was closed, but I still believe there may be security lapses in the bank’s system that allowed these transactions to occur.

"I've been with woodforest for a long time ."
I've been with woodforest for a long time , there customer service is horrible, I went in branch in conroe on 11-09-2024 to get a cashier check they pulled it out from my account 160.00 I called them to ask if I can stop cashier check cause the other party receiving it didn't get it, there going to tell me I have to wait 90 days for a refund, woodforest has no marbles, this check is 150 floating some where out there in someone hands. Woodforest is horrible to bank with they don't care about there customer, they said they couldn't find a check on my account, I told them I lost the bottom part of it , I looked on account and it says check . Disappointing with this bank .

The staff members at Woodforest are always professional, courteous, kind and extremely knowledgeable. Presently, we do not have a Woodforest branch in our area, however, I gladly drive to Henderson always knowing the exceptional level of service I will receive on arrival. Been with Woodforest over 12 years, I deposited a check and they said it's gonna have a hold for a whole week 7 days, now come on 7 days
With everything digital these days,
They said yes 7 days, I even called the main office and they said the same, so I eventually got overdrawn in this week then got overdraft fees,
It like really.
So I decided to take mi business elsewhere after that.
Thank Woodforest for treating a former loyal customer so loyal.

I have been a long time customer with Woodforest bank over 17 years. I have a checking and reli overdraft protection with this bank. They closed my checking account without contacting me about the closure and I tried to reopen the account with my old account number and was unable to. Avoid this bank at all cost.

I've been banking at the wood forest branch Rock hill SC
4875 old York rd. For 15 years, and today I had the manager tell me to SHUT UP or she would close my account! This is unacceptable!!!
I'm not going into the long details of what happened but lets just say you have a bunch of inept people working this branch!! When it takes 30 minutes to cash a check something is terribly wrong! This is the second time in one week that it has taken them 30 minutes to cash my check, with trainee tellers that have NO Business working at a Bank!! Needless to say , I WILL NOT be banking at this branch until this manager is fired or moved to a different location!!!

After having numerous businesses declined my debit card with Woodforest. I did call and was of no help because they kept telling me that there are no holes or anything on my card which I already knew. I was told my last transaction went through, which is true, but the one that I just Processed was declined. In Indianapolis, there seems to be quite a few businesses that have this issue and no, it’s not the business. I believe it’s an IT issue with Woodforest. For some reason they ignore it so I’m forced to find a better bank. Thank you.
