Purchased MasterCard gift card from a grocery store and put $60.00 on it. The card was ACTIVE the moment after purchase. I then go home and get online to check my balance. To get my balance, I had to open an account on two separate websites (giftcardmall.com) and (giftcards.com), 30 minutes later I'm attempting to make a buy online and the vendor denies the sale due "INSUFFICIENT FUNDS"?
WHAT ! ! ! !
I 'AGAIN' verified my balance, except now my balance is $17.61 !
What happened to the remaining $42.39 ?
I then spent the next 20 min. trying to circumvent their automated "Dead-End, Let's chase our tail "customer service platform. After some digging, got another customer service phone number that connected me to EL SALVADOR.
I spoke with two people who had poor English and could NOT provide a cogent explanation to my questions. When pressed, they reinterated : Sorry, but you'll receive your purchase in 7 to 10 DAYS.
I said to them"You have my MONEY, just release it".
Their reply was: We're giving you a credit of $42.39, bringing your balance back to $60.
I verified the balance and it was returned to it's original figure.
I said to the representative, " Stay on the phone while I attempt this purchase". Once again, sale denied by giftcards.com
The representative then tried to blame the vendor for NOT accepting the money.
In total, 3 attempts were made to execute a purchase. They ALL FAILED.
WHAT !
In my opinion, this is a company that takes your money and then parks it in an interest bearing account and sits on it for as long as possible.
In my view this company is clearly committing FRAUD.
Are victims going to pay $2,500 - $5000 to drag this company to small claims. N O !
That's what they count on.
Whether my case is resolved or not, I'm reporting them to the U.S. Dept. Of Justice.

I sent my daughter a gift card for her birthday and it shows on there on her side that every month almost $6 is going to get taken off of the card if I am wrong please correct me. If I'm not corrected I will never buy from this company again. And I will also let everybody I know about this

"TOTAL FAILURE ðŸ˜"
In the past, I have received two virtual Visas gift cards and had no issue. both gift cards from the same person, and I used them both at the exact same place, with no trouble.
The gifted amounts were different for each, both under $30.
However the last one, $50, again from the same person and went to use at the same place - doesn't work. Tried a couple other places....nope. Getting frustrated because I have no idea why it's being denied. It's an active card, the balance is there. No matter where or what amount I try, NO SUCH LUCK. it doesn't work. At all. And it's more than an inconvenience for me, definitely has me screwed up creek without a paddle type of screwed.
My phone's speakers are busted so I cannot call customer service and waiting or email support has been taking an insanely unsatisfactory long drawn out and not efficient process.

First and foremost, I should be able to preview my ecard order with the animated song before the final purchase. Secondly, the recipient wasn't able to open the link via text!! I called customer service and he had to resend the text. Again it didn't work. The recipient had to copy the web address in order to open it on her computer. Very inconvenience! I will never used your services for ecards!!

The mobile platform was great for ordering and selecting an animated card to send. It would have been nice to have some kind of follow up confirmation that the recipient of the gift card had received and opened the message.

I ordered a $150 virtual visa gift card on September 1st. I have sent an email and never received a response. I have tried calling 4 times and haven't be able to get through to anyone. When the order was originally placed I received one email with a retrieval reference number, and a second with no info but stating the card is on its way. Its 9/12 and I still haven't received my order.
