We came to the rental office and we’re about to pick up the car but we didn’t have a credit card with us, so we couldn’t. But marek helped us book with a normal card and he even upgraded out car to a bigger one. We went out from there very happy! Thank you marek!

"Esperienza vergognosa"

Esperienza totalmente negativa. Partendo dal principio: prima di ritirare il veicolo c’è stato negato il pagamento con carta di debito e quindi abbiamo dovuto pagare per un pacchetto più costoso.
Ritirato il veicolo già era in pessime condizioni.
Dopo 5 giorni abbiamo avuto problemi tecnici: abbiamo bucato una ruota e, obbligati a chiamare soccorsi (non c’era la ruota di scorta prevista da contratto), ci è stato ritirato il van dato che il meccanico ha trovato una perdita del serbatoio. Oltre al fatto che il meccanico è arrivato 1 ora e mezza dopo (PAGATO DI TASCA NOSTRA CHIAMATA+SERVIZIO= 300€!!), abbiamo dovuto passare un’intera giornata (circa 10 ore) in una stazione di servizio nel nulla per aspettare il nuovo van. Abbiamo dovuto passare la notte in hotel PAGANDO DI TASCA NOSTRA (circa 140€!).
Verso le 00.00 è arrivato il “nuovo” van.
Il giorno seguente abbiamo constatato che anche questo aveva problemi (Riscaldamento non funzionante).
Abbiamo comunque deciso di tenere questo per non perdere altri giorni.
Finita la nostra vacanza abbiamo riportato il van al rent e abbiamo esposto la nostra disavventura a diversi impiegati del posto riscuotendo solo qualche scusa. Abbiamo deciso di parlare con il responsabile il quale è stato in grado solo di dirci di scrivere all’assistenza clienti.
A parte la poca professionalità aggiungerei che sono stati scortesi e maleducati. AVENDO PAGATO L’ASSICURAZIONE PLATINO (la massima) mi aspettavo un’assistenza per lo meno decente. ABBIAMO DOVUTO PAGARE TUTTO NOI, NON CI È STATO RISARCITO NULLA se non 50€ “per la giornata persa”. È STATO UN SERVIZIO PESSIMO SE NON TOTALMENTE ASSENTE!
NON AFFIDATEVI A QUESTA AGENZIA .

Hour late meeting my family
Then driven in an unworthy van to office and forced to wait another 45 mins. Then told you either pay £2700 deposit or pay an extra £200 for premium insurance.
Vehicle was a rust bucket - dented all over. The warning light started flashing within 20 mins of journey and then the electrical fault warning symbol started flashing - we called the office and were brushed off - called again in the morning and were brushed off… we didn’t use the car as we have two small children and didn’t want to put them at risk.
To top it off we were charged a further £75 when returning as the fuel was down one bar. The staff were rude, obnoxious, arrogant - the manager was the worst of the lot.
Terrible outfit. Absolute con merchants. Ruined our family holiday.

Faircar should be called Unfaircar
They don't have the cars at the airport that you order, but we were picked up an hour after the time we ordered the car from. Then a 20-minute drive and a further hour in the queue. All in all, we got the car 2.5 hours late and didn't make it to the Christmas event we were supposed to be at. The delivery could not be at the ordered time but 6 hours earlier as they are not open in the evening. However, they have no problem renting you the car with that as the delivery time... and remember to factor in queuing time and driving back to the airport. All in all, we got the car in of one day og time less than what we ordered... I would strongly advise against renting a car from them.

From star to finish to get on the road was nearly 3h, the car had damage on every panel and getting them to record is a really slow process. Avoid at any cost

We had some issues with the car but Hiedy helped us a lot, even refunded us 1 day, and then Mark who checked us in and out was so helpful and kind as well!
First time renting a car and it was super easy and fast!

Super fijne ervaring gehad. We hadden per toeval een Nederlands sprekende werknemer voor ons. We hebben de auto gekregen die we hadden gereserveerd. Een Dacia Duster met spikes voor de winter in IJsland en om off road te gaan. De website is helder en de communicatie is goed verlopen. Nog goede tips gehad. Heel fijn!

The gentleman that checked us in, Marek, was wonderful. He explained everything to us, he was very professional, gave us some good tips on what apps to download or what sites to visit to enhance our Iceland experience.
The car was good, we did not have any issues with it. The return of the car was quick and easy too.
We had a great experience, and Marek definitely made it even better. You are lucky to have such a great people working there.
