"Issues with customer service around cancellation..."
For years I've enthusiastically recommended RingCentral to people. I even have a prior 5-star review for them on here! But after seeing what the experience is like for canceling a plan, I can't recommend them to anyone again. First, they force you to call in order to cancel. There's no technical reason they couldn't allow it in the billing area of the admin portal online, as they allow all kinds of other billing plans.
Second, their wait times even just to get through to the cancellation line are very long. Every time I've called this week, it said there was an over 60+ minute wait time. Once it gave me an option to select having them call me back when time freed up. I selected it and confirmed the correct phone number. There were still 3+ hours left in their business hours that day, and they never called back.
After my third day of calling this week and waiting a long time, I finally got through to someone. Then they ran through the whole script of trying to convince me not to cancel, despite me affirming repeatedly that I was cancelling because I didn't need phone service anymore. So even after everything it took to get ahold of someone, they still made the process extra tedious and annoying.
If I need call services again in the future, unfortunately I won't be going with RingCentral again after this. I had good experiences with the service itself during the years I had it active, but this level of intentional bad customer service to try to force people to stay active isn't something I would support myself or recommend to anyone again.

This is an update for our previous review.
After our initial review Ringcentral contacted us in time and we worked together and we have resolved our issues successfully.
We believe there were misunderstanding on both sides about the service and terms, but we are glad that it's being fixed.
We have been with Ringcentral for more than 15 years, their service have been very good until this time because the misunderstanding, we will continue to use Ringcentral.
We do appreciate efforts made by Ringcentral to help us.

Calls drop all the time, people say they call and get nothing. I try to answer the phone, it says i'm connected but can't hear anything...overall this system is terrible.

"Test Fax Experience..."
It was easier to get help to do a test fax, now that there is a new option in the menu to say if you'd like help with fax issues. Thank you for adding that option. Also the staff that helped was more knowledgeable and helped more quickly with less explanation needed. Previous staff were great, but needed me to explain why I needed to do a test fax more and it took longer.
