"This was my first trip with students"

This was my first trip with students, so I was a little nervous traveling abroad. However, our tour guide Jenny was fantastic from the moment she met us at the airport on Day 1 to when she dropped us off at the airport on Day 10. Explorica has partnered with some amazing hotels and restaurants that give you a true and authentic look at the culture and people. We all had an amazing time traveling around Costa Rica from San Jose to Arenal Volcano, to the beaches at Jaco. If you ever travel to Costa Rica you have to ask for Jenny! :)

"This trip was absolutely amazing"

This trip was absolutely amazing! Silvani was out tour director and she did an outstanding job not only keeping us organized and on time but also enriching our knowledge with things we didn't know we wanted to know. Our bus driver Andrea was also exceptional, making our group laugh and get to our destinations safely. I adored this trip and will continue to travel with Explorica in the future!

Our trip to Italy and Greece was Amazing! We enjoyed it every day. Luca was very attentive and flexible to the needs of each of the groups within our large group. We felt like we were given special treatment for excursions and ALL of our tour guides were outstanding! A trip of a lifetime! ❤

"London, Paris, & Italy trip 2022 Review"

The trip was well organized and professionally and patiently guided by Stefano Calcagni of Explorica. The entire trip faced several challenges that were beyond control of Explorica for the most part. The unusual heat wave in Europe was a huge problem to do long arduous walks. The airline and hotel industry are suffering from the aftermath of the pandemic being short on staff and lack of proper maintenance. We experienced that as a group on this trip. The tour guide did a wonderful job guiding us throughout the trip. I cannot say enough good things about Mr. Stefano Calcagni. He did a super job! The only suggestion to give is that due to the unusual heat wave, the tour should be adjusted to allow for participants to rest and recover from the heat and exhaustion from walking for so long. Reduce the number of locations to visit to make sure participants are well rested prior to starting another excursion. Make sure group gets back to hotel at a decent hour to allow for proper rest. Never plan travel where participants arrive late to a hotel. The budget Ibis hotel in Paris clerk(s) duplicated room keys for the guests causing much confusion and conflict between travel groups. In the future allow room selection and room numbers to be assigned prior to arrival. This is the end of my review.

"Ireland/England/Scotland"

I traveled to Ireland/England/Scotland with Explorica we had a wonderful trip got see many sites, however doing 3 countries in 10 days is too much and the Panoramic bus tours do not compare to the city walks.

"Explorica trip to Europe: Great "taster" of four countries."

Our Trip with Explorica was a great learning experience for all of our travelers. While we had flight delays and cancellations, we did make it to our trip, and everyone was very accomodating and helpful with us joinging the group and getting caught up on a few of the sites we missed. The trip was FAST paced and our students and travelers saw so many places. It is like a taste-test trip where you get to see the highlights and then pick and choose where you want to come back and see more on your own time. Such a great value: We saw highlights of four countries in 10 days (including travel).

"Not safe for kids"

Meals were not great. Tour guide was not good. We left 2 kids behind in Germany, 3 adults behind another day and left one of the teachers on the boat in Switzerland. No one supervised the kids.

Multiple schools we know have had terrible experiences. Most recently did a tour to France that was awful. Avoid this company!
