"Explorica provided an amazing experience"

Explorica provided an amazing experience. There was a variety in the places toured. The food was fantastic and plentiful. The tour guide was knowledgable and accommodating. The bus drivers were friendly and always had water available for us. All hotels were clean and air conditioned. The excursion was a great value. Explorica is a program that can be trusted.

"Europe trip"

The tour guide, Laura, was outstanding. She was fun and very organized. I would do any trip with her again! We spent quite a bit of time waiting in line for planes and trains. That was a bit frustrating, just hanging out and not doing anything. Motels were good. Food was okay. Overall a very good trip that I would do again.

"I almost asked for a refund"

I almost asked for a refund. I was left alone to explore at least eight times after being told multiple times that nobody should ever go anywhere by themselves. I had no way to communicate with the teacher coordinator because I could no longer access her phone number on messenger, during the trip. I had no way to communicate with the tour guide if I needed to when I was on my own, in case of an emergency. These are just a few of the examples.

"Scotland and Ireland 🇮🇪"

Wonderful trip packed with just the best tours and tour guides. Mr. Hoke and Mass were on top of all of the transportation and hotels I could enjoy myself and only had to worry about getting from my house to the airport and when the vacation was over, from the airport to my house. I appreciate the time and energy they both gave to make the whole trip a fantastic success.

"Everything was very well planned"

Everything was very well planned, little to no hiccups. Honestly the best experience in my life so far. Worth the wait and the money.

"Venues = Fabulous; Guidance = Not So Much"

The venues were fabulous. However, the organization left much to be desired.

On Sunday before leaving on Monday, many people went different ways because the expected trip to St. Andrews was removed from the schedule. Various reasons were given, so I have no idea what the real reason was.

This caused some of us to meet up with the group at the Scottish Folklore show in Edinburgh. Information was given to those on the bus regarding leaving early.
And, other group leaders forwarded that information to people in their group who were not on the bus.

However, since my group's leader did not attend the Scottish Folklore show that information was NOT forwarded to the two of us who did not ride the bus. Yet, we stood there and talked to Andrew (the tour director/guide for the trip). He said nothing about it.

So, two of us missed the bus because we were not aware they had to leave early. Instead, we went to the restroom.

Then, we had to find a taxi to get back to the hotel.

Frankly, the level of guidance and information given about Scotland during the long drives was not up to par.

I do have another trip scheduled through Explorica for next year. It may well be my last.

It was a very enjoyable trip the Director Austin and the driver made it happen, Canada 🇨🇦 is a beautiful Country.

"Hotels could’ve been booked better"

Hotels we were booked at were the cheapest hotels in the area and farthest from where we were visiting for the day. I would’ve paid more for the trip a to get hotels that were at least within walking distance to a metro or to the city centers… it was kinda disappointing to be so far out every night and not be close to anything if we did want to explore more.
