"Wonderful 1st Trip to Europe"

This was my first trip to Europe, but it will not be my last! We spent the first two days in Paris. It was exciting to see everything I had pictured in my mind. The only draw back was that our hotel was so far from the places we were visiting. We had to take multiple subways to get to the destinations, and then back again at night. I would have preferred to stay a little closer to the areas we visited. Next, we spent two days in Switzerland. It was so beautiful, and I feel like we had a good mix of seeing the countryside of Bern and the old city and sights in Lucerne. Austria was a nice experience where we stayed in a ski chalet in the mountains. We could open our windows for the evening and enjoy the cool mountain breeze. We also were able to sightsee in Innsbruck. I was excited that we were able to stop in Lichtenstein to get our passports stamped. Germany was incredible with more time to look around Munich. We were able to see the sobering concentration camp at Dachau on the morning. We were only there for two hours and would have liked to have more time to read and explore. That afternoon we were able to go back to the area in Germany and sit outside at a restaurant and try different types of sausages, a pretzel, and beers. We finished our evening having a traditional schnitzel which I also wanted to experience. Pierre was a wonderful tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and fluent in many different languages. Of course I cannot leave out our spectacular bus driver, Lazlow. He made sure all of our belongings were safe and executed the drives (and parking) beautifully. I cannot wait to go on my next trip with Explorica!

"Equador mainland to the Galapagos"

Explorica did a fabulous job on our trip to Equador! They took what could have been a really bad situation with the political unrest and turned it into a once in a lifetime trip with memories we will never forget! The Galápagos Islands can be checked off my bucket list!

This trip was amazing. There were a lot of activities packed in, so it is difficult to say which one is my favorite. I am pleased with all the places I stayed. The staff and tour guide were excellent, informative, and patient.

The to trip to Washington D.C. overall was a great experience. A lot of things packed into a few days but we knew that going in. The only reaon its not a 5 star is the dinner river cruise was a huge disappontment. It was not what we were told it would be and being put on a boat with 3 different schools having a middle school formal was less than ideal. It seemed like we were crashing their event and left most of the kids feeling uncomfortable to say the least. I would not recommend for anyone to take that dinner cruise.

"family trip"

I traveled with my 22 year old son, 17 year old daughter and husband. Everyone enjoyed the trip tremendously. We are looking forward to our next trip.

No communication to families as promised. No pictures as promised. It’s the 21st century uploading pictures and notes is routine by many. Yet nothing. Disappointing not be be able to share experience with my daughter.

Our trip was a delightful smorgasbord of European highlights. In each city our guides showed us hidden gems and main attractions. Explorica did a wonderful job preparing our trip and making it easy. Their guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. We saw and did so much in a limited time, and I was truly impressed with how much we accomplished.

The Galapagos Island trip was a life-changing adventure filled with self-discovery and amazements of every kind. My students were overjoyed by each island we visited and continue to tell their family and friends of their exceptional expedition with Explorica.

"Generally Great"

In general, my trip was amazing. Our guide and driver were great. The students were given options so the activities would engage them. The only issue that I had was with the Explorica help line. On our return home, we missed our connecting flight due to delays. The help line was not of any assistance. The representative with whom I spoke was also unfriendly.
