Our tour guide Sandra was fabulous! I’ll be sure to request her for our next school trip

My experience in June wasn’t great for two reasons. We wasted at least 2-3 hours a day on subways or walking to a restaurant for dinner, while passing 50 restaurants en route. At this point of the day we were exhausted anyway, It was not a good use of time. Secondly, our hotel rooms were barely big enough for one person let alone two or three. No place to even open your suitcase except the bed. In Avignon, France, the hotel was the most disgusting I had ever been in. Hair in the bed, black mold everywhere, cockroaches, no shower curtain and when they finally brought one it was stained with what looked like blood. The bed was little more than a mattress on a lopsided box spring that tilted to the right. I almost slid out of bed several times during the night. I will say that I got to see some wonderful sights, the food was plentiful and delicious. But because of the unnecessary walking and hotels, I can only give it three stars.

Fueron muchas cosas en un día.Casi uno no podía disfrutar ni ver las tiendas para comprar. Y ni se diga con el segundo guía turístico no tenia respeto ni con nosotros ni con el chofer,quería hacer lo que el quería y le hacia mas caso al otro grupo. Leo es muy bueno y explicaba todo.

"Great Tour Guide"

Our tour guide Ahmed (aka Habibi) was an excellent tour guide. He did a great job of helping us to understand the culture and nuances of Egypt. He took excellent care of us and was great at adapting our trip to meet our needs and interests.

Although a wonderful trip there were shortcomings
1. Some of the scheduled activities were not geared toward teenage girls such as the art museum. It wasnt even interesting to the adults. The aquarium was ok, we've been to better but the cost of the food was outrageous for lunch. $30 to $40 each. I blame that on our guide who should have taken us somewhere else for lunch.
2. We had 2 dinners at a restaurant and the rest we were given cash to eat on our own. I ask you, where can you eat dinner for $16 to $20? I was quite upset at the taco dinner where we had to sit outside in the cold. What if it had been raining?
3. Our guide kept telling the girls that the trip wasnt about them. Excuse me, but it was all about them. They worked hard fundraising to go on the trip plus their parents paid a lot if money.
4. Our guide told us a lot about things we COULDN'T do, and maybe if we ever came back we could do those things.
5. There was so much time devoted to shopping where other activities could have been scheduled in place of it.
6. The places we visited all seemed rushed and we realize that many were free to go to.

Costa Rica was very fun, many beautiful sights and cute animals that I saw.

It was probably the best trip I’ve ever taken. Our tour guide Yader in Costa Rica was so awesome! He always made sure we were taken care of and was super insightful.

"More Time on a Bus than Sites"

Waaaay too much travel was involved. The sites were all fantastic, but at least half the trip was spent on a bus. The night of the optional folklore show, those of us that chose not to attend weren't even provided dinner... I'm pretty sure breakfast and lunch each day were both supposed to be included with the cost of the trip (no, it was not departure day). The country was fabulous, scenery amazing but overall waaay too rushed with only a couple of hours tops at each location so we could rush back to it bus and spend our day on there.

"This trip was well planned"

This trip was well planned - Amazing in all areas. I loves having the same bus and bus driver for the duration of the trip. Our guide was so amazing and well prepared. We were well informed each day of our plans which helped us to be well organized. I came back from this amazing experience rejuvenated and ready to take on life again.
