Good day. We had a great trip to Greece - well run, a great group that we traveled with. And I can not even begin to state how wonderful our tour guide was. She had great stories, helped us along every step of our travels, making sure that we had an outstanding time in our travels.
It was a great way to introduce my son to international traveling!

This was one of the best experiences of my life, not for the lack of problems o situations out of control but because of how Explorica backed us up. This was a special challenging year to travel after COVID but they walk every step of the way with me, before during, and after the trip. from arranging medical attention to one of our students that got sick from supporting me way after my trip was completed and I stayed behind to enjoy more places but I got sick and they immediately gave assistance when I needed the must. my Salesman coordinator Juan Sagrero and the Tour leader Blanca Beneitez were stars.
I travel with two other companies in the past and so far, Explorica has been the best!

"The trip itself was awesome"

The trip itself was awesome. This was my first time ever going to Europe so I was beyond excited. The flights there and back were great. Although on our connecting flights we had to pretty much run to make them. Once we got there the hotels were great but the locations were a problem. Them being so far away from the city it would take roughly between 30 mins to and hour to get back. At the hotels we had a few instances that our key cards would stop working so the hotel staff was very helpful with that. On our last night in nice, Paris my bag was stolen from the breakfast area. Couldn’t file a police report since we were literally getting back on the bus to make our way to Italy at that point so I ended up losing over $800 of technology.

Switching hotels back and forth was not fun. Also I expected to stay in Paris and not waste 2 hours in travel time.
Meals were the worst I ever had on a group travel.

I was very disappointed with the hotel accommodations and dinners in Italy. Every hotel we went too, it seemed like they did not want us there and were not accommodating at all. The hotel in Naples was awful! Very dirty and unclean and in a very sketchy area of the city.

I also felt like we were on the road more, than actual sightseeing in Italy. I felt like what took a 6 hour bus ride to the port to get on the ferry, could have been three hours on the high speed train.

The dinners in Italy were not good. I was expecting amazing Italian food, but unfortunately, the food was terrible and not great.

The trip in Greece was amazing however. The food was incredible and the hotels were a little better.

"This was my second trip to Spain with…"

This was my second trip to Spain with Explorica and it did not disappoint. Our Explorica guide, Jose Ramon, was friendly, enthusiastic, personable and went out of his way to make this trip memorable. The local guides were PHENOMENAL! One exception was our local guide for Parque Guell in Barcelona. He rushed us through each of the sites (later we found out he had overbooked himself and had another tour directly after ours). The whole experience was perfect and I look forward to my next adventure!

"Mediterranean Trip"

I enjoyed Barcelona and France. I appreciated the architecture and scenery. I would suggest providing water for your group especially when visiting during a heat advisory. Did not care for Rome because it was crowded, dirty and folks were rude. Enjoyed getting to know kids from another school in a different state. Really liked our tour guide he was from Spain as well as our bus driver..

Top notch! Other than covid postponing it for 2 years... everything went on without a hitch! Best experience!
