"Excellent service"

Thank you for a great price and fabulous service. I love my new Fiat 500 and would recommend Preston Motor Park for buying a new car. I came down from Scotland for the car and everything was ready and went very smoothly. Thanks again.

"I tried to buy an Abarth 595 for Bolton…"

I tried to buy an Abarth 595 from Bolton Motorpark; I dithered and the car I wanted was sold...my fault.
I rang them again and made an appointment to see Barry. I turned up, Barry was very courteous but a bit vague about what was available new and used. He showed me a couple of cars but he had a previously booked appointment so he was under a bit of pressure.
He pointed to a new unregistered red Abarth saying it was a lot of car for the money, £17,795.....which it was. I said I wasn't sure and we agreed that Barry would do a search and come back.
Anyway, later that day I thought, you know what, the red Abarth was a lot of car, so I emailed Barry asking him to confirm the price of the vehicle which he said he would do. 24 hours later, as I'd heard nothing, I emailed him again ( that was yesterday tea time ). I got an email back saying...." Hi Jeff sorry for delay the new Abarth in red the offer you have seen on line is a deal on finance with £3000.00 deposit and dealer support so takes the list price down to that, the list price on the Abarth is £23,490.00 for a cash deal it would be
£21,000.00.
I rang Barry saying I was confused as he said it was £17,795 when we met and the website still says £17,795 with absolutely no reference to finance, deposits or anything. I said that sound like misrepresentation and he said yeah it does doesn't it.
I left it at that...later I decided to ring Preston Motorpark enquiring about the same vehicle. Got a return call from Lyndon which sound pretty straight forward; he said the vehicle was £17,795 and I said OK, I'll take it but could he confirm the price and I'd pay a deposit. He went away and came back a few moment later saying the car was actually £19,995. I asked why and he said more or less that same as Barry. I said I didn't really understand as other vehicle appeared to be sold for the price on the website. Lyndon apologised but said that was the way it was, to which I said it sounded like an issue trading standards should look at.
He said he might be able to do a deal on finance to bring the price down...at least that's what I thought he was saying.
I asked he could hold the car overnight we speak tomorrow morning ( that's now ) to put down a deposit. he took down all my details and he said he'd call me....not had a call as yet.
To be honest, as much I would like the car, I'm not going to buy from them.
I understand that the car game is complicated ( rather, it's made
complicated ) but it's the 21st century and these guys are behaving like double glazing salesmen ( or used car salesmen...I know, mixing my metaphors ). Given that the car game is pretty much on it's knees ( although Barry said they cant get enough cars to sell ) I would have thought being straightforward and selling a car without having to work too hard would be quite attractive, as would a bit of honesty....to be fair, Lyndon appeared straightforward.
I suppose they all revert to type don't they.

"Northampton Motors and Mazda 2"

I arrived back in the UK in 1991 and the very first car I bought new was a Mazda 323F and although Mazda don't make them anymore it will always be my most favourite model. I now drive a Mazda 2 and love this car very much, it suits me fine and the staff at Northampton Motors have never let me down. Purchasing my vehicle was simple as it always is and the service plan is amazing. I am in my 60's so the memory isn't as good as it used to be and the fact that I get texts to remind me when services or MOT's are due is extremely helpful. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thankyou.

Have just purchased new Mazda CX30 and Mazda 2 Sport. Both excellent value cars. Have owned several Mazda's in the past and found them to be very reliable vehicles.
Sales rep was very helpful and courteous.
Would highly recommend these cars.
