"Don't trust reviews on 'own' website, I had a really bad time."
Absolutely appalling. I was lied to a total of 15 times throughout the process of dealing with Blackburn motorpark. Unfortunately the issue is still ongoing over a month after I arranged my visit.
I took my car for a service and small repair. I called to confirm if my car would be ready earlier in the day and was told yes. When I arrived, the repair had not been done as 'the part was in Bury'. Bury is 30 mins away, had I of known I could of got someone to bring the part up myself!
I asked to complain and was given the email address of the manager - which turned out to have been written down wrong so it bounced back.
I called a few times, to be told I would get a call back 5 mins later. At no stage did this happen, and on every occasion I had to chase them up.
Apparently the manager, 'Craig Fisher' has been in hospital for 3 weeks - why on earth I kept getting told he was in meetings and that I would get a call back is beyond me. I was once 'put through to his office' - oddly, for someone in hospital, he wasn't there?
I was told to come in anytime for the repair 'A thirty second fix'. I tried to book for Friday morning as this was my only chance within the week. I was told they would be too busy...
I was then told it would be a '10 minute fix' and that I could some in anytime on Friday by someone more senior. I went in on Friday and it took 40 mins, meaning I was late for work.
Having left my car out in the sun following a clean they did, it's developed a few matte spots where the top coat has been burned away as they didn't clear the water droplets. I've had to t-cut and wax it.
I've filled out the form they sent to review my experience. I was sent it before my repair had been done, as if I had already finished with them - which would suggest they were happy with the job? It says I would get a call back from 'Keith Armstrong Regional Aftersales Manager' - two week on and not a sausage.
I work with around 50 different people in the area everyday, plus a few councilors, mp's, gp's and the like. I'll be sure to mention the experience as I have enough of waiting for them to sort out the problem and explain how they would do it better next time.
