"The Perx Card Needs to Come Activated"

The Perx card use to come activated and I would have given 5 stars for convenience and the option to use a gift.

But in the last 2 years they’ve implemented a registration mechanism for the card that is honestly the worst I’ve ever seen. The website for starters requires a username, security code and password. If you forget 2 you’ll basically not be able to access your account. A gift service shouldn’t require such difficult access. On top of that the website for registering the card is also very shoddy. The box for typing your password gets bugged out and doesn’t allow you to type a password.

Once your account is created, the website still won’t allow you to login and wants you to approve through a separate website that is not linked.

These cards are given as a gift where I work, among 20-30 staff who also all experience the same issue. The registration system for actually allowing the customer to use these cards is totally unacceptable and prevents the cards from being used. It needs to be completely reworked.


Edit: first review I was very annoyed but I’ve increased it to a 3 star because the customer helpline were so polite and helpful in activating the card.

I've been having a really frustrating issue with this Perx card that Uniplaces uses to pay me. I've got money on the card, but I can't do anything with it - no payments, no withdrawals, no way to top it up. It's like the funds just don't exist.
The problem is, Uniplaces decided to use this Perx card to pay me, even though I never agreed to it. Now I'm stuck with this card that's charging me all these annoying fees, and I can't even access the money.
I've been trying to reach Perx's customer service for ages, but they haven't gotten back to me at all. It's driving me crazy that I have this cash that I can't use.

Card refuses to swipe in store could swipe for a while then it stopped and now have lost 18e so far in charges totaly useless on line won't work on any website so far. I was told that it would work anywhere that has the mastercard symbol-total lie. Thought one for all vouchers were bad but this takes the biscuit. Hate it and hope never to have one again.

Despite my elderly mothers refusal they signed her up to a subscription when she ordered a laundry basket from Easylife. Avoid both Easylife and PERX.

"Scam."

Constant verification and log outs and not usable on sites, can't use in supermarket. It's a scam company, they make it as hard as possible to use the card so they can keep the money.

Can't use it anywhere at all. It's a joke. Easy to register it but now can't access the website to check balances. I can see why my company uses them

Absolute rubbish. Their website is on eof the worst I've seen. Customer service takes weeks to respond. They contradict themselves with details like if you're meant to add your country code or what security code to use.

I received a perx card from the company I work for at Christmas 23. I've registered the card online etc. I'm still unable to access the 60e. I tried today July 8th to telephone, can't get passed the original message. Emailed them and was told to ring the same number or go online.
Do not buy these cards even if it's for your worst friends/employee

Do not accept a perx card under any circumstances. I am over 6 months emailing trying to get access to funds on my card.
They don't give a damn. They take 3-4 weeks to respond and always say the same thing we are very busy. Then they ask you for all the dame info and then another 3-4 weeks for a reply. I feel like a hamster stuck on a hamster wheel.
Zero customer service disgraceful.
