"Once, but never again!"

This is the first time I've had to write a review like this, because up to now I've only had good experiences. Some weeks ago this company through their TV show Crafters TV had a really nice deal: buy the Gemini machine and get $70 of free stamps, dies etc. The perfect birthday present for my upcoming birthday, or so I thought. I was a little bit reluctant buying an expensive machine online from a foreign country, but I decided to take a chance. The fact that in the TV shows the CC people come across as friendly and reliable absolutely helped! So I went ahead and I orederd my machine online during the 9th of July TV show. When I opened the box on my birthday however there was only the machine and not the extra items. I reported this to CC via mail, thinking this was a mistake and would soon be set right. The reply I was sent 10 (!) days later was a terrible disappointment and left me feeling like I was conned. I was told in a curt, matter of fact kind of way that in order to receive the offer I should have used a special order number that's shown on TV. The problem with that is that it is never mentioned during the show that it's only if you do so that you'll be getting the extra products. On the contrary, the emphasis is totally on the free extra products you'll be receiving. This is the first time I've ordered from this company and I won't be buying from them again due to their appalling customer service. I've stopped watching Crafters TV, because what seems to be a customer friendly attitude appears to be quite frankly 'fake'. I also encourage people from the Netherlands if they want to buy CC items to buy through representatives in the Netherlands. I've had good experiences buying from them. I sincerely hope my Gemini machine won't break down on me any time soon, because I have very little confidence in the service I'll be receiving.

"Gemini Foil Press"

I ordered the foil press and Gemini machine a couple of months ago. The conversion platform for the foil press shifted in the Gemini and ruined the foil press platform. The customer service people generously sent me a new foil press machine. This time I ordered the Gemini Jr so I wouldn’t have to chance the conversion plate issue again. I used the foil machine for two evenings. It will no longer heat. I am so frustrated with my experience. I followed the instructions and watched You Tube so I know I did not do anything that would have damaged the foil press machine. I love the machine......when it works.

"I recently received an order one part…"

I recently received an order one part of the order, which is what I actually wanted, but had to take 3 other dies along with it, was substituted. I wanted the die "BELIEVE". I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED TO SAY THE LEAST. I would like the item to be sent when it is available. I was not given a choice.

"MAY ESCALATE HIGHER"

I have spent hundreds of pounds trying to complete my spectrum noir classique pens range and I am down to my last 21 pens. I previously accidentally ordered 2 of the same colour pen and after about 20 emails back and forth with customer services they credited my account with £1.99 to get said pen delivered it costs £3.99 I asked the advisor when I noticed the mistake I made if they could exchange it if she could exchange it for one I didn’t have she flatly refused to do this which I emailed her straight away. She said if I had rang they could have done something about it. So on Sunday I ordered 17 pens and I wanted to order a tn6 and tn9 instead for some reason the tn9 went through twice and no tn6 so this time I called as advised by the same advisor to sort it out. She said we can only cancel the order which I didn’t want to do I just wanted her to get one of them swooped out. How the hard can it be to just exchange for pen for an other. It’s just ridiculous and the customer service from crafters companion is one of the worst. I’ve worked in customer service for 20 years and if I was a customer and for the sake of one pen I would have gone above and beyond when crafters spend so much money knowing I have the last few to buy. I was going to move on to buy the illustrator range after my dealing with them with the classique once I’ve my full classique range I’m done after the NONE customer service I’ve recited absolutely rubbish customer service!!!

"Gemini Foil Press Disappointment"

I purchased the Gemini Foil Press about 6 months ago and have attempted to use it on and off over that time. My biggest problem seems to be over foiling. It doesn't matter how low I make the setting it still over foils badly. At the moment I am trying to foil the Happy Birthday die that came with the machine. I have the setting to 2 and it's still over foiling badly. I have watched demonstrations on the TV and online many times and am frustrated that the foiling comes out very well for them but doesn't for me. I am disappointed as I feel I have wasted my money.

"Gemini Die and Embossing machine - No spare parts"

I bought a Gemini Die and Embossing machine for my wife - we had trouble with it and out of warranty, so being an engineer, looked inside & found the problem to be one of the sensor levers had broken - a simple piece of plastic but vital for operation. Got in touch with Crafters Companion to buy a replacement part (easy to fit) and they responded they do not provide spare parts. First manufacture I have come across that do not do this and therefore be aware if you are considering buying this product - no spare parts mean when it goes wrong out of warranty - its landfill.Would not recommend.

UPDATE : changed Star rating to 3 as Crafters Companion responded & confirmed again that they do not provide Spare Parts, but upped star rating as they do offer a chargeable repair Service. On my problem, I made my own replacement part and the machine is back to working order for now.

"I bought the CC stamping platform and…"

I bought the CC stamping platform and base together with 4 rotating background stamps.
These seem to be hopeless. I've watched videos, tutorials and read the packet instructions but no matter what, these stamps just do not line up correctly.
Except when I rotate the stamp and not the platform!! Which is not how it should be.
Very frustrated and disappointed.

"Background rotation stamps and stamp platform set."

I was going to purchase the new rotating stamps with the Stamp platform and magnetic stamp platform. Left it in my basket as it was 2am to order in the morning. By the time I went back to it 8 hours later, the picture showing the Stamp platform and the magnetic stamp platform base had gone, and there was a message saying you have to buy the stamp platform separately. Create and Craft had the whole lot for just £5 more. So I rung customer services at Crafter's Companion and was told it was probably a mistake on their website at 2 am. The young lady didn't sound very sure though. Needless to say, I didn't place my order.

"2 weeks have gone by and I still have…"

2 weeks have gone by and I still have not received a reply..I was advised to contact crafters companion in the usa which I did twice already.. still waiting for some sort of resolution to getting a defective kit with items missing etc...As much as I enjoy seeing the crafters companion products, they are pricey and different. As I did not purchase this kit, it was given to me for christmas, and it came from in think hsn..

I am not sure if I will buy anything else from them due to horrible customer service. Hope my Gemini Jr doesn't go on the fritz and is under warranty

"Rubbish,wasted loads of money and have gone off crafters companion stuff now"

Had this as a christmas present,used it once and now dosnt warm up,I got the extended plate too as I havnt got the junior and too difficult to feed thru as falls off.i was so excited to start using this but now a lot of money has been wasted as it wasnt cheap,I'm so upset about it.
