This is my 2nd electric blanket from HSD online. I like that it is like a fitted sheet without have ties to tie it to the mattress. It heats up quickly and is comfortable to lie on when fitted to the bed. The only difference between this and my previous purchase some years ago is that the connection is not as high up the blanket as it used to be and where the power cord attaches to the blanket is close to where I sit on the bed before getting in. Previously it was located under my pillow. Other than that, am very happy with this purchase
