"Good value learner insurance, but watch for the phone validation..."

Learner driver insurance was good value and offered pro-rata cancellation on passing test, as opposed to the scaled back refunds offered by some other insurers.
We purchased online, but they wanted a phone call the next day to 'validate my details'. Despite being 17 and in school full time (as indicated on the online proposal form), they phoned home at 9.30 in the morning and again a little while later, then sent a decidedly unnerving email entitled "Notice of Cancellation", and a signed-for letter in the post threatening cancellation, all for the sake of waiting until the evening when I would have been home, or until I called them instead as they had requested!

Great customer service when setting up my daughters provisional car insurance. Very simple and straight forward. Everything explained clearly and easy to send required details. Person on the end of the phone spot on.

Great cover, that I paid up front at start of my policy, all hoops jumped through,so why in the 21st century does it take 4 to 6 weeks to refund me what's owed due to passing my car test?
It's a click of a button and done, must be coming via snail mail and snails got a limp!!!!!!!!!
