"Received two roses"

Received two roses, one of which was trashed by the courier. Upside down and all the branches were cut in half. Contacted DA twice and they have never bothered to reply. The irony is they can claim the damage back from the courier, but they have chosen to completely ignore their customer instead. I don’t recommend at all! Have contacted my credit card to help resolve. If you don’t fancy a headache then I would not order from them.

"Non-climbing Bathsheba"

I ordered a climbing Bathsheba and it will not grow higher than about 4 ft despite the care and attention I give it. I know how to grow roses and tend to them but 'Customer Services' are patronising to say the least, giving me details on how to feed and care for my roses and implying that it will not grow because I am not caring for it well enough. It has been in the ground for 2 years and is healthy but will not climb at all. No interest from DA and will not buy from them again.

"Ordered a bare root rose and expected…"

Ordered a bare root rose and expected it to be packaged much better. It was packed in an unsealed plastic bag and thrown into a big cardboard box. No planting instructions as others claim to receive. It traveled a week through the hottest part of the country. one broken stem I hope it makes it but I am very very disappointed by the shipping standards of this company.

"Excellent company and roses"

I bought and planted a mixture of bare root and non bare root roses about a month ago. I did buy and add the recommended root Mycorrhyzal and Controlled release rose food on planting. I'm not the best at paying attention to instructions, but a month later all roses are flourishing and growing really well.

I did make a mistake with my order (thinking I only had one bare root rose, when I had two), but customer services were really helpful and sorted out my issue really quickly.

I absolutely recommend this company and will buy again, thank you!

I made my first purchase from DA Roses in early spring. The bare root roses arrived promptly (appreciated since there’s a high shipping fee). We planted them within a week of receiving them, following instructions we found on their YouTube page.

All products we bought from them are now flourishing, already filled out with beautiful leaves. We are excited to see how quickly they are growing fingers crossed for blooms.

I ordered a number last year and they have recovered beautifully from a very harsh Aberdeenshire winter and are going to very soon look glorious climbing and rambling over our house and garden.

I bought a Kew Rambler from David Austin three years ago and I felt compelled to leave a comment about it case you are thinking of buying one of these magnificent roses.
It grows VIGOROUSLY and is VERY THORNY so you will need gauntlets. If you want a rose to cover something quickly or give a good amount of protection (for example on a fence or wall) then this is your rose. The thorns will keep most people and creatures at bay. It has beautiful flowers and is a rambler so will give one bloom of flowers in the summer but well worth it in my opinion. It needs tying in or support.

Ordered climbing roses and they were DOA- I cannot get anyone to reply by email, their only telephone number listed is either busy or say’s disconnected. I’m taking out a case with my credit card company for these scammers.
