Ronseal High Performance Wood Filler. Very poor quality product which not do what is claimed on the tin. Despite my very careful mixing in accordance with instructions, the product goes hard in less than 5 minutes giving no time to work.

"TERRIBLE PAINT"

TERRIBLE PAINT. PLEASE STAY CLEAR. IT IS JUST WATER. TRIED 2 COLOURS WARM STONE AND MEDIUM OAK. APPLIED 6 COATS TO JUST ONE FENCE AND SOMEHOW THE PAINT JUST VANISHES IN THIN AIR.

"Ronseal protects in the rain..... NOT"

I purchased ronseal one coat fence life from local store, to paint my new fence and gate. I bought this coz i wanted the best to protect in all weathers and to last, i didn't want to buy the cheap stuff. Apparently colours and protects, long lasting colour, protects on all weather 100 % shower proof in 1 hour. NOT!!. Has now had 7 coats each coat washed off in the rain. Painted it again and yes you guessed it washed off. I have put a complaint into ronseal and will feedback.

Ronseal decking stain and fence paint. I have had the misfortune to buy both and they are cheap, thin rubbish that does not do the job. AVOID!

"Absolutely dreadful"

Absolutely dreadful! Did multiple coats and it still wouldn’t cover my shed despite being sanded (to remove old flakey paint), brushed down and cleaned. Then when I washed the brushes I had used, the paint washed off straight away no scrubbing or soaking needed therefore I do not have high hopes of this paint withstanding the rain even though I have wasted hours painting it on. Very disappointed and am now going to have to buy a different make of paint!!! I would rate ronseal fence life plus zero stars if it was possible!

On my fourth coat and still not covered like it says on the tin. 2 panels down and 12 to go ..... Hardly good value for money or time....

"Deserves less than one star"

Deserves less than one star. Wish I had read this review page before I bought 50l of this rubbish.
Despite numerous coats, previous red paint still visible under black Tudor oak. I expected a few coats but currently at 4 and not seeing finished results. Really disappointed and totally wasted my time

"Absolutely crap"

Absolutely crap, just used Ronseal and cuprinal on my decking, first sight the Ronseal is like water and drips of the brush, Cuprinol was nice and thick and actually stays on the brush, then the nxt day came the rain and washed the Ronseal away, the Cuprinal was till doing its job, Ronseal should not be allowed to sell this crap, i feel robbed, take my advice avoid Ronseal and use Cupirnol, you wont regret it, trust me🤬🤬🤬🤬

Just come off the phone with a complaint on this product, my beautiful plants are dead,lined my wooden troughs inside and treated them with this product all my beautiful petunias that were larger than life are dead,I have had the most amazing displays every year, use miracle grow compost,she give me loads of cods wallop,about it being waterbased and that if near soil with in a pot with being watered constantly could contaminate the soil,they need to put that on the tin,its not going to help the poor plants which have been killed though. NEVER AGAIN.. DONT LET IT HAPPEN TO YOU.

"not one coat & washes off in the rain"

I would actually give Ronseal one coat fence paint no stars if I could. It’s that bad. My fence was a mixture of untreated, sun bleached and some bright panels. Changing from red to black. I expected to have to do maybe two coats which was fine. 56litres of paint later which was 9 coats and it still isn’t black. Gave up and thought ‘it’ll do for now’. Finished painting and it was dry for 23 hours then the rain started. The paint has literally washed off in the rain. You touch it & your hands/clothes are black. It has also discoloured my monoblock as the colour is running off on to that. The only thing that went black in one coat was my white dog!
Currently fighting with Ronseal directly who wanted receipts & pics of the issue. Sent them and still no reply.
Honestly cannot stress this enough DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON THIS.
