"Unethical company across its site - Faulty electrical "
I brought a boom box and it is electrically unsafe it switches off when it’s plugged in and you’re using it. I contacted the site and they are refusing to have the item returned. The information added is limited which leads you to believe it is working order so they can over inflate the bidding price. unethical practice displayed. I brought a mower and again half the parts are missing and this was not was not mentioned in the details listing portrays all items are in the box. I will never buy any electrical items from them again the worst culprit is Nottingham and Birmingham site. Worst thing about it the then send you a copy of the terms and conditions providing every reason why you can not have a refund from T&C 1.9, 2.1, 3.1, 3.7, 4.1, 4.9, 6.2-6.4, 7.1-7.8, 9.1, 9.3, 9.6, 13.1-13.3 really all the exclusion to not admit any liability. Unethical practices.
To be honest the only ethical site was Marchington.

"Have a very unpleasant experience with…"
Have a very unpleasant experience with one of the latest deliveries from JohnPye as my parcel hasn't been delivered at all. So now need to pay extra money to JohnPye to organise the redelivery of my parcel that wasn't delivered properly by the deliverer. Moreover, previosly one the item I got from them was broken and couldn't be fixed. So sometimes it's like a lotery with items in lot you're making bid to.

"T&Cs say nothing works - believe them!"
Purchased wireless mouse. Turns out it’s wired but someone has cut the wire and glued plastic over where the wire should come out of the body. John Pye say “hey our terms say nothing works you should have looked in person” (I still couldn’t tell after delivery - took me 2 hours to work it out).
Looks like deliberate deception to me

"Great why to buy new products"
Great quality products that are mostly brand new. The auction process is very good and as long as you accept the bid price isn’t going to be what you end up paying then it is a fun experience. I have bought some very good products at very good prices and couldn’t be happier.

"JP and logistics shame"
JP seems like a good business but they tend to lack on their system of returns. They don’t follow up on the logistics companies they give business to. You buy an item and the logistics tells you it’s lost in transit. No one seems interested in sorting you getting answers let alone the item you bought.

"Shambles of a delivery service"
Waited and waited for the skims womens clothes to be delivered. Six winning lots in total. Idiots sent me a 32" Television !!! Wouldnt mind but there were no electronic items in my auction as it was just clothes and cosmetics. Customer service is useless also. Fill out a form and wait days to be answered. AVOID this company

"Buyer beware"
Should have read the reviews before bidding but previously had a couple of successful items but the last one had items missing, not described as having been opened, and the customer service is poor, if they get back to you at all. Just send you a copy and paste excuse. With high fees thrown in, its just not worth the risk. AVOID!!

"Predatory fees - buyer beware!"
Won three lots all at the same location for a total of £39. When bidding I saw that there would be a £45 delivery charge, and given that they are all from the same place it was assumed that it would be combined into one delivery.
Nope! Instead they are trying to charge me £45 delivery PER ITEM. Add on their extortionate auction fees and VAT and they are now asking for around £240 in total. That is 6 TIMES the hammer price!
I tried their customer service to see if I could find anyone with a brain that might be able to do something about these insane charges but I keep getting stock copy/pasted replies back. We're now at an impasse.
