"John Pye auctions LOUIS LACOMBE…watches "
I purchased some LOUIS LACOMBE chronograph watches and they fell to bits. I contacted John Pye but they would not help due to confidentiality. I even suggested that they pass on my details but they won't help. They sell a lot of these watches and make a lot of commission, but wouldn't help. Stay clear of these watches and be careful of all you buy.

"Arrived damaged....Again!"
Bought some children's toys.
Arrived today. Most are damaged in one way or another.
I've had enough of this outfit. First occasion I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Now I'm unsubscribing.
Beware!

"They will hide any damage in pics even…"
They will hide any damage in pics even if it’s obvious in person.
I’ve bought 7 different items from John Pye and only 3 were useable and that was 2 non electronic items, everything else was broken or parts missing.
They use the you can come see the items but they know most people won’t travel a far distance to look at items and they use that to their advantage to sell broken items so I always bid low, however I gave up when I was sent what was shown in the pics as a sealed air fryer for one that had been clearly opened (box was ripped) and was faulty and in the same lot a microwave that started sparking when plugged in! I don’t fancy burning my house down thanks.

"The company won’t refund for faulty…"
The company won’t refund for faulty goods. I purchased items described as a John Lewis table lamp and standard lamp. The base was missing for the former and the latter irretrievably broken. Useless and would not risk using again. I previously purchased other items which were badly packaged in thin bin bag plastic resulting in damage although I accepted it at the time. I have only had one decent item but after delivery costs it was barely worth the risk. It appears that John Lewis is passing on broken and defective items for resale: do not be under the illusion that these are simply returned / unwanted / old stock goods that are in working order - in my case the goods were trash I will have to dispose of. Consumer rights do not apply to auctions and if the auction company relies on that, you risk losing money.

"I bought two earbuds from this site"
I bought two earbuds from this site, both of which were faulty, and I received no refund. They are suggesting that you go to Edinburgh to see them before you pay. Don't try to reach them; they will only copy and paste a template response. It feels more like gambling than shopping. I strongly do not recommend them.

"Hi all at JP,s"
Hi all at JP,s
After many decades (5) of working with you all I have recently had the need for asking for help to obtain a refund on an expensive purchase (robot vac) . I found the existing system quite difficult and therefore I turned to Robert whom I have known for many years he after a friendly chat Robert sorted things out with Roxy who armed with photos etc looked into the matter further and subsequently my refund was issued with this I haves managed to buy what was wanted from JP,s
Whilst I am writing can I also thank all the boys and girls in the sales room for helping an old foggy (80) like me
Best wishes everyone
Gerald HUDSON
P.S.Always treat everyone as you would like to be treated it makes for a much nicer place to live.
