"This hotel was not good!! Construction noise was unbearable!"

This hotel was not good for the explicit reason that there was jackhammering construction going on which started at 7:45 am! There was zero mention of this going on at this hotel. We had a very long day and an even longer day ahead of us. We had every intention of trying to sleep in. There was no way possible that was going to happen. We requested some sort or discount for the obnoxious noise (we were on the 7th floor!). The lobby was just as horrible in terms of the noise - I could barely have a conversation about the noise. It was completely unfair and irresponsible not to mention this at time of booking. The hotel was unable to offer any sort of compensation as the room was booked through this site. Also, completely unacceptable. This booking site and the Park Royal need to work together and provide a resolution for us. We are not from Australia so offering a discount voucher for a future stay was also unacceptable. I will not be using this site again nor will I be staying at this hotel.
