I made two reservations at a Super 8 by Wyndham Plano/Dallas Area at 1704 North Central Expressway for my daughters college graduation. When we arrived to check into the hotel, they had overbooked and did not have rooms for us. There were no rooms within a 35 mile radius for the rate we booked so we had to make a 4 to 5 hour drive home late at night. That was on 10/12/24 and I have yet to receive a refund. I sent an email on 10/29/24 after giving them plenty of time (they said 7 - 10 business days). There was never a response. I called back today to escalate the issue and they said it would take another 7 - 10 business days for a response. This is unacceptable. I will be speaking with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General of the State of Texas as this is not right and they cannot let me speak to a Manager/Supervisor or give me a direct email to someone in charge. Because our rates were so low, the Super 8 by Wyndham sold our rooms to others that had more expensive rates. I had made the reservations and paid for them weeks ahead of time. This service is AWFUL!!!!

The reason I didn't give five stars is because I think you should let me know that the pending charge would be higher than the room rate plus tax.

"Confusing"
The process is too confusing because you're constantly asked to upgrade or buy insurance. I would rather deal with the hotel directly. The site is set up so that it is easy to hit a button for something you don't want.
