"Awful company"

It has also come to my attention Greensquare owe money and we have had debt collectors in the building. Awful company. Fails to deliver in every aspect. I live in a communal building that is cleaned once a month currently (and cleaned is a strong word). My door buzzer hasn’t worked since moving in February 2022. Grounds are not maintained. I’m not sure what my nearly £100 a month service charge is being used for. But, they have acted very swiftly to remove a doormat from outside of my flat, cited as a tripping hazard. Please don’t make the mistake of getting into a greensquare property like I have.

Update: buzzer repair was booked in, no word from contractor on agreed repair date, phone greensquare to advise they were a no show, call got disconnected and I was never called back. Greensquare have also removed £80 worth of fishing equipment that we left hidden out the way by my car to dry. They have also taken a car mat that I left out by accident after cleaning my car and one of my neighbours clothes airers that they use in the car park as drying your clothes isn’t always great due to damp and mould. I will say my housing officer Corinne is always responsive and willing to help, it’s a shame that she’s trying to help in what is a broken company.

Reported smashed glass in the communal door..nothing has been done
Overgrown gardens and ive been told the gardens are fine.
My front door is not a fire door and is illegal.
Next step is property ombusman

Green Square Accord are an awful housing association. I have been a tenant since 2016 and have had nothing but problem after problem. Main roof leaking since 2018 still not fixed. Had a leak on my radiator in front room rang them to report, waited 45 mins for someone to answer the phone to tell me it’s booked in for 5 weeks time as not urgent, 2 days later the boiler broke due to the water pressure from the leaking radiator, rang them back, waited another 30 mins for someone to answer to be told they will add the boiler to the radiator job as I have an electric shower to get hot water and now it’s not winter I don’t need heating! She said you’ll have to boil the kettle to wash the dishes! 4th day the leak became uncontainable was having to empty the pot every 20 mins, rang them back up, waited 20 mins for someone to answer to be told it’s not an emergency someone will be out in 7 days! I said well how am I suppose to go to bed when it needs emptying every 20 mins! The lady on the phone replied “YOULL have to think of something” when I said I wanted to put in a formal complaint and speak to someone senior she then miraculously came back saying they will do it as an emergency this time!
What is wrong with you people! I hope the company goes bust and someone decent takes over that actually know how to run a housing association.
I don’t understand how they can keep getting away with the way they are working and nothing ever seems to change apart from getting worse!

We needed a huge sycamore tree in our garden felling, the tree surgeons that came to do it were absolutely superb could not fault them at all, they were laughing all the time joined in with our conversations had a bacon sarny cups of tea, Roberto and Tom are the best, thankyou for your service.

the one word i can use to describe greensquare is PAINFUL. its painful to contact them and not have them reply for months, when they finally contact you it takes them more months to figure out the problem. its been 7 months now and they still havent sorted our rat problem that they caused by leaving broken old drains under our new build. we paid for a drain survey out of pocket to investigate how the rats were getting in, we literally hand fed them the information on how to fix this issue (fill the damn drains) and they still havent fixed it/ have acted like they dont have a clue whats going on. i dont understand how they are getting away with this, i don't know how they run a company and are just ok with one star reviews. customer service is the worst i have ever received. literally have nothing good to say about them.

Because Green Square Accord, I’ve got rid of their Twitter/X account if you go on Instagram and go onto their account there and make comments I cannot delete it . it’s very frustrating as a tenant, living in absolutely horrific conditions that Green Square Accord is a company. Enjoy themselves by organising an event to nominate fantastic employees. Meanwhile there are tenants living in on humane conditions.
