I also find it interesting that they would excuse their lack of customer service to their system- YET still no reply to my over 60 EMAILS

I ordered and paid in full for an item (order#000000989) on 11th Oct. I received an email from Karibaa on the 12th Oct informing me that the item is out of stock and would receive a refund within 7 working days.. I immediately provided my requested bank details and have still received NO refund after multiple requests. They do sometimes respond by saying the request has been escalated,, but then nothing.. Seems like a scam to me.. Please prove me wrong!

Update: 3 days after the apology from Karibaa, they have continued to ignore me. Empty promises & Lies.

Spent nearly R500 on a book with 34 pages, not as advertised and still haven't received feedback regarding refunds, got a phone call from someone working for karibaa and she was probably my rudest customer service experience and still no possibility for a refund, please don't make the same mistake i did, research these online companies before purchasing.

"Complete lack of any kind of customer care"
I placed an order (000025076) in May and then in June when the item was supposed to arrive and hadn’t even been shipped yet, I logged a refund. Since then it has been me following up and begging for my refund. I’m a teacher who was retrenched and was scammed by this company with empty promises and ignoring of emails. All I’m asking for is a refund for an order that I never received.
Customer service replied 25/10. STILL NO RESPONSE OR ACTION TENDERED AS OF 02/11.
