Having an awful experience with Bristol Energy. I have been trying to have a problem rectified but cannot get any kind of contact from their customer services. I have sent multiple emails to recieve no responses, and I have spent all day on hold or awaiting a call back, only for my phone to ring for half a second and then stop, giving me no time to answer.
Update: The advice I got after finally getting through to speak to someone on the phone (after being hung up on) was to contact the customer support email address, which I have done again. It has now been 2 days I am still awaiting a response.

"Bullies and liars"
This supplier , is extremely bully - I had them as my supplier about 4 years ago, then I changed supplier, and as far as I know I don’t owe them nothing, ..but suddenly nowadays they keep sending me bills some outstanding bill that they are putting on me , they send threats and harassing letters . Please people , stay away from this bully supplier!! They horrible

"Something is definately wrong"
Update on the saga of my switch and complete lack of response by Bristol Energy in refunding my £325 credit since I moved suppliers early September.
I was actually promised they would sort out and refund a Direct Debit they took 4 weeks after I switched. The words were 'We will ring you back in 10-20 minutes'. That was 3 weeks ago.
Despite thier assurances in the phone message, its pretty clear all is not well with this company.

"Sold a property a month ago"
Sold a property a month ago. Sent final gas meter reading to Bristol energy, requested a final bill and a refund of money in credit. Nothing.
Now I'm getting requests for meter reading as if I still owned the property.
Unable to get through to them by phone and no reply to emails.
Looking at other reviews, I'm not the only one.

"Continuing failure to repay credit monies"
After asking for my credit to be refunded for the last eight weeks I got an email on the 25/10/21 saying I would be getting a refund. Three days later I got an email increasing my direct debit payments. I'm still waiting to get my credit money back from BE. No reply to email as usual.
I note Together Energy has failed to make its ROC payment to the regulator. I find it offensive that BE continue to say on their website that accounts and customer money is safe with them.
Edit 5/11/21 Enough! Still nothing from BE. I first asked for my credit to be refunded in September. It looks like my money has been stolen by BE. For all the good it might do at BE I have submitted an official complaint as the first step in trying to get some redress.
Edit 8/11/21 Eight weeks is the correct timescale for a refund? I wasn't advised of this. Anyway, the formal complaint now goes beyond this.
Edit 10/11/21 I received some money into my account from Together Energy (i.e. BE) today, but it was a partial refund only, not the total money I am owed by them in credit. In addition to increasing the direct debit on the same contract to add further to the credit I am owed by BE. Therefore, the title of this review still applies.

I've been with Bristol energy for many years and I've always been happy with their service and the deals they've provided. The yearly contract can be cancelled at any time without any cost. Providing a meter reading is very easy, which can be provided via app or telephone.

Have been a customer of this company for some years. Customer service is now the pits forcing me to swap to another supplier.
Trying to get a refund of a large amount of money they owe me from taking massive over payments is like trying to get blood out of a stone.

I chose Bristol Energy in 2016 very happy with them . Chose them again 18months ago when I moved to new location. Always possible to speak to someone helpful which is important to me.
