"Horrible customer service"
This happened a while ago. I was sold a faulty motherboard, bought as new but shown signs of previous use with a rusty PCB. After 2 weeks of use the boot up process started freezing on the UEFI screen.
I've returned the motherboard (in person) to the shop, got a ring to come pick up a replacement after about a week. Instead of getting a replacement, I got the same, still broken motherboard back. The person at the store explained that they were unable to process the return, because a sticker on the back of the motherboard was partially (!) peeled off.
They accused me of lying and trying to swap the stickers with a broken motherboard I already owned. Every time I came into the store the person behind the counter would call his mate to 'deal' with my complaints - same bs accusing me of being a liar and trying to scam them.
I've eventually given up, contacted the manufacturer of the motherboard directly and (surprise!) after sending in the motherboard and describing the horrible experience dealing with this place, they sent me a better motherboard free-of-charge.
After leaving a review on other sites, they left a response, accusing me of being a liar on a public forum and attempted to bury my comment under numerous fake positive reviews - "The boss of this place is amazing. I bought the wrong power supply and they replaced it for free with a 1000W model - John Smith". Well, if that review was true, I do feel sorry for the guy, because knowing this place the power supply will probably explode and burn down his house.

Awful experince. I ordered a hatchimals egg for my son for xmas on 6th dec and still haven't recieved it even though they 'guaranteed' after the first complaint that it would be with me by 23rd Dec!! I'm £88 down because they are not replying to my emails and I do actually want the egg but am clearly not going to get it. Use your credit card in future so you can claim back from these terrible companies that should no way be allowed to continue trading after all of the people they have let down and not actually given money back to.

It is impossible to contact this dodgy outfit. The phone is never answered, emails never replied to and even the fax number is permanently engaged.
I still want the items ordered or a full refund but am beginning to doubt I will see either.
If the situation changes then I will update my comments.

I am one of thousands of people that were taken in by Advance Tec (trading under the name of Savvibuy).
I paid my money to them in good faith for items that I just did not seem to be able to get anywhere else. Not only did they fail to deliver on the guaranteed date, but they then went about concocting a lie, telling people that their orders would be there on Christmas eve.
This was just an act of deception, probably to buy them more time with our money.
Once Christmas was out of the way they then sent out emails stating the following
'Your SavviBuy Order
We would like to apologise to any of our customers who did not receive their orders in the delivery timeframes that were allocated.
We have outlined all of the options below that may be applicable to your situation along with recommended steps to claim your refund.'
They then go on to explain that I should go to my bank and get them to do a chargeback......basically get my back to attempt to recover the money from them.
People are just starting to get money back now, but not from advance tec, it's coming from their own banks. I don't know if advance tec have any intentions of giving that money back or not.....who knows.
What I do know though is that if you do business with these guys then it wont end well.
Just look up Savvibuy and see for yourself.
At the time of writing I still haven't received a refund, savvibuy websites, email servers and anything else relating to them have disappeared......along with everyone's hard earned cash.
I would honestly recommend that you ignore any positive posts as they are probably written by people associated with this company

"Rude bad mannered stay away"
Bought a bike for my son was suppose to be delivered on his birthday, didn't get delivered that was 2 months ago, called several times, they cut you off, bike was faulty said they would repair and deliver with a £20 discount picked it up did not work, finally got thru after calling several times again was rude intimating and refused to give a refund saying it was NOT his problem and to come in another months time, it's a joke, in the meantime I have a bike that does not work and I'm £200 out of pocket...STAY AWAY!!!!!
Ps trading standards shall be hearing about this!!!!

Including me, whose 3 year old son will not be receiving his Hatchimal despite several emails literally 'guaranteeing' delivery. Whether a conscious scam or severe mismanagement, this is not a company anyone should consider purchasing from.

I'm a gaming enthusiast so I spend a lot of my time and money on this hobby, the guys at advance tec continue to help me spec up the best systems and ALWAYS are the cheapest on the market for me. They've beaten every price even Maplin and Aria couldn't come close! Been using the guys for years, would really recommend!
