"Easy enough to book but nearly 30% additional fees!"
Easy enough to book, but I was more than a little surprised by the number of different charges added to the ticket price - a booking fee, a venue levy, a processing fee, delivery/transaction costs (the ticket is digital).
I'm all for supporting the venue. I'm all for transparency on fees. But it's not clear how booking, processing and transaction are different. Our tickets were priced at £55, and the bill was £70.50. That's a pretty big markup (28%) for what seems to be a largely automated process. I wasn't happy, and very nearly pulled out of the purchase.

"Keep away double book you and cancel your tickets the day before "
Absolutely dreadful company with rude customer service. Booked tickets to a show three months ago. Was called the day before to say they had been double booked - no apology just blamed the venue. Called the venue who told me they had never received our booking. They’ve basically held £300 of my money for 3 months. Woman on the phone was totally unprofessional and just kept repeating she had sent me an email (she hadn’t). Scam artists.

"With under 24 hours notice"
With under 24 hours notice, I have been told that my tickets have been double booked and therefore cancelled. The tickets were booked three months ago online. How is this even possible! The refund in no way makes up for the fact that my family's first day of the Christmas holidays has been ruined.

Terrible customer service who try their best to not help you while wasting your time.
They requested details from me and I provided everything they requested yet they wont give me access back to my account.

"Easy to navigate and quick to process"
Easy to navigate and quick to process.
Processing charge plus DELIVERY charge (why needed when just an email?) plus insurance adds c. 10%

Seem to like to keep adding fees and their password rules are so outdated as to push people towards passwords what would barely withstand a basic dictionary attack.

"One the whole a very pleasant enjoyable experience"
I went to this venue with friends. We were pleasantly surprised by the thought that had been given to disabled people attending the shows. Staff were very polite and helpful. They couldn't do enough for us. I had been worring about going because of my mobility problems and bad hearing. But once there all my worries went. Both my friends have health problems and felt the same. It is a lovely venue and the seats were comfortable. Show was brilliant. Very grateful for the entrance slope. Crowd control was well handled which stopped people in the stall rushing down to the stage avoiding crushes. One moan off though. We had travelled other 3 hours to get there because of traffic mostly in a taxi. Getting there as doors opened. We had not eaten since lunch time We hadnt bought food with us intending to eat before the concert. Because of the lateness we went straight into the theatre. Assuming we could get a sandwich in there. But they only sold hot and cold drinks sweets crips and popcorn. Why considering how much of a big thing they make of insisting own food can not be bought in, do they not sell sandwiches cakes etc. It is not always possible to go off and find a restraunt, cafe in the surrounding area. Moan over we will know for next time.

"Great customer service when there was a problem"
Posted ticket didn't turn up in time for some reason for a David Duchovny gig.
I contacted customer services on the day of the gig. David at customer services responded within 30 mins and arranged for the tickets to be collected at the venue instead.
Great service from David, very quick, all sorted in less than 1 hour, and he kept me updated through the process.
A credit to Eventim.
Cheers David.

"Fees Fees Fees"
£4.37 booking fee
£1.50 processing fee
£2.50 delivery/transaction fee (for a digital ticket)
£8.37 of added on fees to a £35 ticket. That's more money than the individual members of the band will see from a ticket sale. Shameful.

"Mark King - time to put your feet up!"
4/11/23 ; Level 42 with supporting act The Christians at Eventim Apollo , Hammersmith.
The last time I went to a Level 42 concert was in 2003.
Lead singer Mark King has had an amazing career but he should now rest up with that (dreadful) quaking, tuneless voice that his band mates were clearly trying so hard to carry for him last night - come-on Mark , own-up to having had your singing day mate!
The show opened to the sound and lighting effects of a ‘rocket-launch’ style fanfare : which in reality was unrepresentative of the concert. Instrumentally the band was great - helped by the venue acoustics, but supporting act The Christians were vocally and tunefully superior.
I stayed (only just) for 30mins of Level 42 and was glad not to have paid (card-only accepted) £15 for a Programme or £30 for a promotional t-shirt 😧!!
Loyal fans in the packed audience voiced many song parts for probably a thankful Mark King .
Why is it that great singers don’t step aside and do something else as positive once they know their voices creak, and quite unfairly expect their fans’ total loyalty and acceptance of it ??
It’s a shame to have to write a review like this really .
Ho hum , back to yesteryear with downloads/cd’s.
