"Gorgeous property and very spacious"

Gorgeous property and very spacious. Few issues with appliances but house is having some renovations and was not a deal breaker by any means.

"Beautiful location and beautiful house."

Beautiful location and beautiful house.
Very private and we felt very comfortable. The walk to the beach was minimal and pleasant. We even tried out the pool! Super clean.
We would definitely recommend Leisure by the Sea.

"Avery mixed bag during our stay"

The staff was generally very responsive to our request to the extent that they could. Capitano property is not as advertised. Beginning with the outside where you spend most of your time, the pool heater only worked for short periods at a time, pool lights were burned out, patio lights were burned out. As far as audiovisual equipment, none of the TVs in the rooms were working properly And there were no instructions in each room how to work the AV system. As far as the kitchen, the vent to hood did not work nor was it ever fixed while we were there, we had a chef cook dinner one night and he said the fire alarm off because he could not bend the kitchen without opening the doors. The furniture is about 15 years dated and is so worn out it does not represent which should be a $5 million home. Almost every built-in fixture was scratched, dented, and the entire house needs restoration. Almost half of the lightbulbs in the house were burned out. I’ve never had any issues with any of the other properties that I’ve rented through five star, I would not recommend this one

"I thought the property seemed tired and…"

I thought the property seemed tired and much needed TLC. The bedding, pillows and bed were terrible. The kitchen had some issues with things working over stove. The potholders looked like they had been there since property built.
We lost power a few times because of rain and wind,

The pictures definitely didn’t show all the ware on home and would not rent again.

"We arrived one day post hurricane with…"

We arrived one day post hurricane with 7 adults and 2 small kids,and the power was out in our beach rental. Anthony found us a house for the night and called early the next day saying we could move to our beach rental. Everyone was great and easy to work with. Have already booked for next year.

"Five Star Properties was very efficient…"

Five Star Properties was very efficient in getting our issues resolved. We had issues with the hot water heater and literally it was fixed within 15-20 minutes.

The stove in the house stopped working and Five Star Properties brought a counter top for us to use which was brand new and worked great!

Appreciate their professionalism and attention to making our stay top notch.

"Pictures can be misleading ......We have rented properties from five…"

We have rented properties from five star before and always had a positive experience. We were truly surprised and disappointed in this rental. The photos of Capitano online were magnificent. We were totally shocked at the condition of the property . The moment we entered the home it smelled of mold and mildew. The top bedroom floor was usable because of the strong smell of mold and mildew. There were dirty dishes in the cabinet and a Tupperware container in the drawer that had old cupcakes in it. The island icemaker had mold and mildew. The refrigerator icemaker was completely frozen. The food warming drawer had old food in it. There was a half empty peanut butter jar floating in the swimming pool. Upon our arrival the floors were gritty, sandy and dirty, even in the master bedroom closet. On about the third day we found mouse droppings behind the sofa pillows. We also saw a rat in the kitchen one evening. The garbage disposal did not work and when turning on the dishwasher... Water backed up into the sink. I spent my vacation sweeping, washing someone else’s dirty dishes, thawing out an icemaker and calling maintenance repeatedly. The good news is that they did come out and repair the garbage disposal right away. I would not recommend vacationing at this property. ☹️😞

"This review is being generous with two stars"

This review is being generous. I would barely give them two stars. Everything promised on the front end was not delivered. Besides the house is a nice size, we couldn't look past how dirty the place was left. How little the cleaning crew did the entire 30 minutes they were there for a 4200 sq ft house. The inspector never came to look over the property. The back yard and pool area looked completely littered with trash and debris. the dryer broke and we had to fix it. We didn't have hot water for a day and when we called the representative said we must have used all the hot water although no one had showered. They will talk and give you great lip service about all the stuff they do before you get there but we didn't see any of it. You have to do a lot to make sure it's clean before you leave but let me tell you if the previous guest do not clean up after themselves, all their hair, trash, dirty dishes, pantry food and such will greet you upon your stay. the ceiling fans are covered in dirt and dust. If you look at the mops they use you wouldn't use them on your sidewalk yet alone the interior of the house. If you stay at this property make sure to bring cleaning supplies and a vacuum because you will spend the first day just trying to make it clean enough to eat and sleep. Also after leaving this review fivestar lied and said none of this was documented. You guys apologized to us the LAST DAY about all the issues that occurred the entire week and said they have all been documented so saying you didn't see them in the file is a lie. Nice try covering it up....It's better for a company to just accept their mistakes and try to correct them than to lie and say they never heard of the issues.....sad :(
