I have been on several holidays with IC. Sadly, despite all this fancy rebranding, they don't get any better in the office.
They are advertised as a Tour Operator when the reality is they are more akin to what back in the day we would call a "bucket shop".
The majority of the customer contact staff do not provide even the most basic of assistance, and their responses resort to parroting a script.
My frustration this time is that i need to apply for a visa, which asks for the hotel name as booked by the tour operator. IC can't provide this until 21 days before we travel. A little bit late for the visa application.
They also can't (or won't) provide any detail of a local contact. Again required for the visa.
As I've said previously. their holidays have always proved memorable, but also their Customer Service for the wrong reasons.
This really will be my last booking with them. The stress is far too much, and anything other than picking and paying for the holiday, you have to do for yourself.

So, after this review I have had a call from Will.
Will is exactly the kind of person I was looking to speak with.
I appreciate you won't have time or resource to give every customer one to one attention, but if you'd done this after several emails, perhaps my review would have been unnecessary.
On the positive front, Will, who has recently been to India, was able to give me all the information I was looking for ... and more.
Now that's Customer Service!
