"FEEL VERY CHEATED….."
We feel extremely cheated 😡 Booked an amazing sounding Far East trip last year but unfortunately we had to change the booking as my mother was in hospital when we had to pay the balance (she eventually passed away). We asked to change to a holiday in Europe as it was closer in case my mother’s condition worsened. Had already paid £6000 deposit which we didn’t want to lose. They only gave us 2 choices and were more interested in us maintaining the spend/spending more. On our rebooked Italian Lakes/cruise tour recently we asked some couples how much they had paid. They said around £6000 less than we paid (and showed us their invoice). We asked Imagine for a breakdown of charges/fees, they wouldn’t give one. Whilst we expected to lose some deposit money, we didn’t expect to lose it all. They just rebooked us on another holiday and pocketed our deposit 😡 And then insulted us with a £200 voucher for a future cruise. Beware booking with this company! Read the other reviews, seems this is normal procedure for Imagine Cruising…..

PLEASE BE WARNED BEFORE BOOKING WITH THIS COMPANY and don't waste your time emailing them, or contacting the CEO as he just gets someone else to respond to requests to cancel and get a refund. All you will get is basically a cut and paste of We are sorry, we appreciate your disappointed, we understand everything but although we marketed it as a highlight of the Sailcation, a change of headline act isnt our fault because they pulled out and a change of Port is not applicable because its in the same country so isnt significant so we are keeping your £660 deposit which would have increased to around £3448.50 if I hadnt cancelled before 4th January 2025 (17 weeks before departure) which by the way took 3 emails, 2 of which said you need to respond as your booking is still live or you become liable for 75% of the full cost. Friends who are frequent floaters with MSC said 17 weeks (119 days) for final payment is ridiculous as MSC is only 30 days prior to departure and only 90 for a world cruise. Although an offer to change to another 'organised' Sailcation provided I pay all and any additional costs I was not at anytime offered even a credit note towards another Sailcation.
What to do is leave 1star reviews here and maybe when they cant use it as apart of their email signature they might actually care.
